    oh yeah........and its one of my good prospects now:D!!! an hour and a half drive aint bad, but it would suck to get there and they didnt wanna deal, so i sent them an email. hopefully....they will respond tomorrow sometime, and i'll see whats on the table.

    thanks man!! its kinda a headache....but i aint gonna rush into a truck that i may regret or isnt the one i want. gonna go look at one this weekend, but thats probably all im gonna do right now, unless its an awesome deal and the truck is in great shape. hmmmmm......wonder if i can get the dealer to add the rear locker for a decent price:eek::D.

    harrelson just called.....they have a 04 trd 4x4 double cab auto v6,silver, that they got in this morning. its not the one they were talking about before, but im gonna go drive this one later on and see whats up with it. i know i said i was done with harrelson, but i gotta see the truck....kinda what i was looking for:D.

    Go over it with a fine tooth comb. Then have a mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb, following that I would go over it with a fine tooth comb once more.

    That's OK...everything for a reason! I hope this one at Harrelson shows some promise for you:) Like the wise soul above suggested, study this truck hard and with a fine tooth comb. I sense that you cant be easily fooled Will:) That's a good tool!

    i stopped in a dick dyer toyota today to check the price on a tbelt/water pump change and another part i broke that id like to replace...turns out an old coworker is now a salesman there...asked him if he ever sees any 01-04 4x4s come thru in any cab configuration...he said he hasnt seen one in months

    ill check out the other ones here soon for ya will

    im a first gen. tacoma guy now:D:D:D!!!!

    i got an 04 double cab tacoma trd 4x4.....silver!!! traded today!! its still gotta run thru the shop and all,get new tires too, but its gonna kick ass!!! its in pretty great shape, couple of minor spots on the rear fenders, but no biggie, it is used. and whats cool too......it has 46k miles on it!!!:D i did the deal, and i feel pretty damned good about it....so does the wife!!!:) so now i got a 4x4 with the locker!!! hello gray wire mod and deckplate mod!!!

    before anyone says anything, i know,i know.........

    i dont have any pics yet, as the truck is still at the dealership for all the service and certification and detailing, but soon as i get it back........its pics galore!!!

    the truck also has a westin safari bar with some ipf rectangle lights, and some black westin nerf bars. i'll keep the lights, but the safari bar and nerfs will come off later for sliders and brush guard!!! im friggin stoked!!:)

    dude......i just got done at the dealer at 9:30, then had to go to the lake for a bit!!!

    and actually, though its the last time im gonna buy from them......i got it at harrelson!! i saw it there sunday, then looked at it a few times, but it wasnt their stock. so, after the test drive today, and me going over the truck with my beady lil eyes........we made the deal. so they bought the truck from the guy who worked there, and i traded in outta the shithole lease!!! i may get the truck from service and detail on saturday, but hopefully,they take their time and i get it back on monday!!!!! damn..........i see alotta mods in my future!!!:D

    how do you think i'll do with stock suspension up @ uwharrie?? and next, can i use the locker in 2 wheel drive, like in my prerunner??
