I could but I do tend to hangout with my friends and party quite often. Depends on what other part time job I find that works with my schedule.

    Want a built truck?

    Quit partying.

I worked 3 jobs and built Frank. Still hung out with my friends. Didn't drink or party though. I've had better times wrenching and more importantly fantastic time wheeling with my best of friends.

This! Except when I go wheeling I drink the night before with my friends at their cabin around a fire (yes there are adults there ahaha) and then we get up the next morning and drive to the trail! Thats when i didnt have a tent though! I'm gonna have a tent this summer and it's gonna be sweet!! But yeah partying just wasn't me either. We had more fun at a fabrication shop lol!

So my brother and I went to upstate NY to take a look at a '93 land cruiser with front and rear lockers yesterday nearly a 4 hour drive up there and it turned out needing a bit more work than we wanted to do... did a little bit of exploration though so it turned out being a nice drive :D
    image1.jpgIMG_4363.jpg
On another note I ended up going with the total chaos control arms and an old man emu lift with 881s. Next step is 285/75r16 general grabber at2's I'm just hoping i can fit them on stock wheels.

another quick question, do you guys think it'd be cheesy having a "Tacoma" windshield sticker across the top? probably like 4" thick in black. I can't get the thought of people with flashy junk like stance works across their windshields out of my head...

for the 285's? i wasn't planning on it because i had read that the power loss is bearable but if I need to i probably will, I think the v6 should be perfectly capable of running them though

i can get a great deal right now on a bed from a tacoma thats gold just like i have right now and was wondering if it would look weird on a harbour freight trailer with my camper shell on it ? not for off roading at all just to campgrounds to sleep in is all...or do you think a little trailer like a tear drop would be better?(no gally)

Truck bed trailers always look a bit redneck. If that doesn't bother you go for it.

If you set it up to ride the same height as your truck somehow match the wheels, it can look pretty decent. With that said, you could probably buy a whole new truck for the price of those tear drop campers. You would only have a fraction of the cost revamping the truck bed into a trailer.

I kind of hope you take on the challenge. I know its easy to just cut a check and own something, but a lot can be said about building your own stuff, too.

I build these as a hobby. I can help with with setting up a truck bed into a trailer safely. I encourage people to build their own if they have the desire, but I want them to do it safely.

OK, this isnt aimed at you, but why is there all this @!#$@#$@# snow talk on what clearly looks to be a desert build? One person said "Artic Truck" and a dozen lemmings followed him over a cliff

That stuff below the truck is called sand.

I am also curious why someone would have anything to do with an artic build truck in the desert?
