Did you have a non hood scoop hood, I do and would love to trade my super white hood for a super white hood with scoop, is that what you did, how do you go about it!

That seems crazy that the rain would trigger this. I will probably never find out since I live in the desert unless I get caught in a monsoon this summer. Is there any other threads on this happening to others?

 

Finally had a nice weekend to derp the chrome, install the glovebox decals and the tailgate vinyl. Thx @CBoy808 and @rrentrop

Just picked up mine on Tuesday. Here are some before and afters. I also had the dealership switch out the rims and tires off my 08. Getting the front end lifted and windows tented next week.

 

Wow. 100 HP gain, not bad.

Going to Holy Jim trail here in SoCal tomorrow and trying out 4x4 for the first time since purchasing the truck. I believe when putting it in 4h I have to be moving correct? Saw someone on here saying they had a problem when turning on 4h and had to take his truck to dealer the next day. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I had this happen once but I don't have the Entune premium audio system in my Tacoma.

I can tell you this is not specific to the Tacomas. My wife's Highlander has the premium system and has the reboot issue often. We had brought it in to show service third day off the lot but it wouldn't cooperate and reboot while they had it. We were able to get a video of it to bring in on the 5k service. Hopefully there will be a firmware update to fix.

 

Don't know if you can tell but a huge thank you to my brother TuFerLife for helping me finish the light bar project. Had some issue with the brackets fitting on the bumper bolts. But nothing a drill bit can't fix!

 

What are you seeing for mpgs with the 265's?

 

I have done absolutely nothing to my truck.. Been working out of town for 4 weeks now but I have fog lights, pop n loc and dash logo insert on delivery

 

Looks good, better than the chrome. But it's call dipped, like on the can that you used to put it on with.
