Don't know where it's going yet.
Thinking lower reinforcement on the bottom of the box. I just want it higher and breathable when I launch the boat. No issues yet but. Don't want to chance on a strange boat launch.

    Done!!!!

Had to do it before your birthday and before you bailed to the 60+ thread.

Did everything you described. Cut/ground down the side nice and slow and easy until I got down to the base of the nut. Chiseled it out and Bam! Nut off!

    Thanks a lot Mike!

Here's the damn nut that cost me about 12 hours of time
    IMG_0097.jpg

Here's the new extended length studs and nut. I added a 1/2" spacer for the "lean."
Later, I cleaned, primed and painted the fenderwell sections that got hit with the cut-off wheel.

Thanks for the compliment on my truck , I'm the 2nd owner and the previous owner took very good care of it

I've been in and out of hospitals since 2001 from rotator cuff injuries , nerve injuries and now a failed knee replacement from the VA . I wake up early each morning and it takes me a few minutes to get going LOL!!

    good morning all.
was a great morning for me.
Taco is now ready mechanically for the summer.

Did my maintenance and tackled my projects
    first was my diff breather.
just ran it to the top of the abs wire mount. Will give me another 10 inches of safety. And now it breaths.

    WP_20160402_002.jpg
Then i made the spacer for the "taco lean"

    WP_20160402_001.jpg
Decided to machine the plate down as it was going to be to much. Plus no need for ext. studs.

    Installed
    WP_20160402_004.jpg
I do need to change the top nuts as they didn't have what i wanted and these nuts do rust. so ill pick up a few and replace them later.

    Side view
    WP_20160402_005.jpg
I'm within 1/4 inch with a full tank.
    no more lean. :yay::yay::yes::yes::yes:

Took me about 3 hours door to door for my maint. the machining, my mods and a alignment
    Weekend to myself now...

Supposed to show up here later this evening. After the exceptionally mild winter, I really can't complain.

But I really would like some time in the (unheated) garage to get the summer car ready...

We have had a mild winter per say but it just won't kick into spring. More snow tomorrow. Boat has been ready for a month. Enough already lol. Garage projects have to wait.

To get mine close to level, side to side, it needed about 5/8" on the drivers side. I had a 1/2" and a 1/4" spacer. So now it rides about 3/16" high on drivers side with full tank, level with me in the drivers seat. First opportunity, I'm going to stick a 1/4" plate on passengers side. That should set me CLOSE to level, and give me a full 3" from "stock".....This truck had a lean even with stock coils and shocks. Took 3/8" to level it then. I THINK this may be the result of my having one too many Big Mac's over the ages.

Got highly motivated yesterday and actually changed my air filter after buying the new one 3 months ago....Why procrastinate today when you can procrastinate 3 months later.....

Up @ 0430 this morning. 31 degrees then. and dark.....

50+ mph wind most of the day yesterday. Gotta go looking for my garbage can when I get home....(assuming the wife doesn't find it....)

    Morning BLUE.
1/4 inch plate is going to give you a lot of lift. Mine was over an inch low and I cut mine down. It was a guess and I'm close enough.
No need to blame the Big Mac's. We understand.
    Snowing here. Enough already.
    Hi wind warning till tonight.

Yea that air filter is a bitch project for sure......

I did vacuum my truck and wash the floor mats yesterday also.
Now just to wash Windows and dust the dash etc and I'm done.
