Plate spacers seem to be a variable.....With most lifts a spacer will give you just about double the lift as it's thickness. From what I've seen by experimenting with various spacers, the farther up the lift goes, the less effect a spacer has.....ie.....1/2" added to a 2" lift will add almost an inch. 1/2" on a 3" lift will give BARELY 1/2". I've got one more 1/4" plate. I'll put it on the passenger side and see where it puts me. Goal is to get a full 3"+

And I just cannot leave ANYTHING alone....Gotta keep messin' with it until I get EXACTLY what I want.

Good Morning folks...winter is back in sunny Southern Maryland. Good day to stay indoors but I wish the weather would warm up, I've got a hunny do list to take care of. Y'all have a safe day.

Wow, just found this thread this morning, probably the first such one in all the forums I partake in (or at least can remember). At 58, I just bought my first Taco, 2016 AC 4x4. The old '97 Ranger was ready to be passed along to my son, after all, it was him who talked me into lifting it and 4-wheeling.
So far I love the Taco and for now plan to keep it stock.

Welcome to the 50s! I bought my 09 Tacoma last year to "replace" my 99 Ranger. I love the Tacoma but decided to hold on to my Ranger at least until the Tacoma is paid off. I split my driving time between the two. Good luck with your plan to keep your Tacoma stock..you better stay away from TW lol.

The stock ones are not breathers but pressure release one way valves. I used a breather from the front diff. application.

Again I learned something new today on the pressure release valve! Also the Camry part I mention is actually the union part. My bad. I'm also using the same breather 03136. That's great you have access to a lift! Thanks Again Mike! You'll be fishing soon!

Yea I was laying on my back before under the taco. I checked the cab mounts and they all needed some tighten. Including the radiator support bushings. It would have been nice to have it on a lift. Yea I can't find the torque specs for these anywhere!!
