Thanks for the motivation . I swear it's always something.

Found the 3rd key! Fucker was hiding behind the oil pickup baffle.

After a few tries and a lot of words I got the keys in place and back in 2wd. Hopefully they stay there, I don't understand why they were loose before I took the case apart.

I'll modify the hi/low rail tomorrow and try to reassemble.

I'll give ya props, couldn't rip any drive line stuff like you are with the case anymore. Shit drove me nutz back in the day when I did a total drive line swap/ custom build in my Mopar, how's the Inalfa sunroof holding up? That's something I wish someone near here could do.

The case is back together. :yay:
    image.jpg image.jpg

It's really not a hard job, IF you make sure it is in 2wd before disassembly. My keys must have fallen out because some dummy was jamming the shifter not knowing how to use it.

The sticks will have to be chopped and some custom bent rod welded on to clear the auto shifter. I have these knobs I'll use for the time being.

That's a great idea, let me start collecting parts for the next 2 years. Let me know if someone has a 4.56 elocker axle for sale...

Still finding little things to address. The twin sticks will take some time to sort out how I want as they come up right below the front of the auto shifter tower. I went ahead and cut a small hole in the tunnel. Gonna modify the crossmember and get everything mounted first.

Nice work. I'd be interested to see what you do for the driveshaft and the modifications needed for the TC shifters. I have a DCLB and am starting to gather parts for the 4x4 conversion as well.

It's a lot of work, collecting parts is the easy part. Our driveshafts are Spicer 1330 series so I'm hoping I can have a compatible slip added to the rear for cheaper than buying a different model driveshaft and having both sections retubed.

Looking great! I've got the DCLB and am near Belmont if you need a measurement or just need to reference something.

Thanks I appreciate the offer. My crossmember and carrier bearing mounts are in a different location than a 4x4. I need to get the trans/tcase in place and go from there.
