Subscribed and like-minded. I'd say after 3555 posts whoever posted the 3rd post feels like he may have underestimated the world.

Just got my taco a month or so ago. Have the console vault for obvious reasons and installed an RDS box under my tonneau to keep my get home bag. It has two sets of bolt holes so it can be moved toward the gate and store 20 gallons of gas in cans. More to come obviously.

I make my own holsters because I run lights on all my handguns and it can be a bitch to find the right holster. If you have woodworking tools it isn't too hard.

Yes wooden holsters. Mostly plywood with oak accent's to class it up. You get used to the splinters after a while

LMAO I know what you mean about having a hard time finding holsters to fit guns with lights and lasers. Not a lot of choices except for the most popular ones.

Yeah what's with that? F150's can get 18-20mpg pulling a lot more weight than we are at no weight. Of course I'm a V6 Auto but still...

You don't burn much gas when you're pushing the f150.

I wouldn't mind our shitty milage of the tank was bigger

Maybe it's my full-size upbringing, but I miss that extra HP and MPG that the taco should have easily, being so lightweight

It's small though, and it can get me places I couldn't or wouldn't go with a fullsize, not tryin to hate on the taco, but still...

    Yep.
For me it makes more sense than an AR. With where I live and spend time, if I get into a situation where I need a rifle, it'd be more likely that I'd be needing it to hunt than to shoot up the neighbors, lol. Not that it wouldn't work for that too, obviously. But I figure the '94's a good all-around gun, ammo's cheap and abundant since it's 30-30, and I only paid $150 for it in the first place, which is what really sealed the deal. I worry a lot less about somebody breaking into my truck than I would if I had a $700+ AR in there. :notsure:

Plus I do have friends who ride in my truck occasionally that aren't big into gun ownership and see an AR as a good starting point for an argument but will shrug off an old deer rifle without comment. Not a deciding factor, but it's a nice bonus, lol.

Because I have other interests that we do share, like fishing, gardening, and camping...

Plus I have a girlfriend, and occasionally her friends will ride with us. The reactions from some of them when they find out they're sharing the backseat with a gun are funny. The reactions from the same friends when they find out that there's another gun in the center console are also amusing.

Funny thing is that I tell all who ride in my Truck that there is a firearm inside just so they know as I think it's a good thing in case we are pulled over for some reason. I have had some refuse to get in and they have been left and or made other travel arrangement's.....

It's hard to miss when they open the door to the back seat and see the gun case propped up on the other side, lol. I've had people balk at getting in when they see it. One of her friends refuses to ride with us at all because I have guns in the truck, which is no skin off my back because she's kind of a bag, haha!
