    It's just plasti dip. I just taped it off, sprayed the plasti dip and peeled the tape before it dried to prevent it from peeling with the tape. Didn't take long at all and is super cheap compared to the vinyl cost I was quoted.

    Just go get an OEM paper one.

    My half clogged AEM one does good. I never totally clean it out though, makes it work better :cookiemonster:. And i like that i don't have to buy a new filter really.

    Replaced the bearing and seals in my rear axle over this weekend. Only really did the driver since I don't have all the parts. Not an easy task, but if you're okay with making tools for the job, then it's not terrible. Also pulled my bed rack of my truck. Going to be need the bed soon, so it'll stay off for a while.

    I had my fuel gauge go wonky when a ground connection broke near the fuse box in the engine bay. It was the one that connects the driver fender to the battery.

    Well a little follow up to this post is in order. I havent really driven the truck since putting in the LEDs on Saturday. I get in this morning to go to work and the heat doesnt work at all. Fan speeed and zone select knobs work as they should but no control over temp. I'll pull it apart after work I guess but my first thought is that i just didnt get one of the 2 plugs seated all the way or something when putting the unit back in. Any one had a similar experience?

    That's interesting because mine went weird a year ago and then mysteriously corrected itself. I did the Big3 rewire in November which may have been the reason since it includes a new body ground.

    You can just knock them out on the sliders. What I do. Or you ca used compressed air. Or yea fully wash them.

    I just knock it out. Supposed to be 85% clean after that..lol good enough. Don't want too much shit getting past anyways.
