Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Does anyone here watch Game of Thrones? I feel like that show has been bad for TWD. This is the 2nd time this season that TWD has tried to copy (in a sense) what GOT did last season. The premiere with the hoard in the quarry was very similar to a scene in GOT last season and the ending of the finale was the exact same type of cliff hanger with a questionable death.

That was lame. That was what the 3rd time they pulled that stunt this season?

Rick makes bad decisions the group gets into trouble, bad group defeated, Rick F's up again. Show has run its course.

 

I don't think it's run its course. It just drug (dragged?) out this story line of building up The Saviors and meeting Negan. The first 5 seasons of this show spanned over 90 issues of the book. This season barely spanned 10 issues, which to me made it boring for the most part.

 

Aaron or Abraham.

Aaron just randomly came back in the last episode.

Abraham talked about his future with Sasha. That's not allowed.

 

I'm thinking Rick... I thought I heard Negan say "dad taking it like a champ" after the first hit

 

If Rick died wouldn't that kinda be the end of the show

 

How you know he's dead? Negan said their no use to him dead.

 

I was as well! The show was the shit in the first few seasons

 

Because on the Talking dead after the show they said it's the end of a character and beginning of a new one.

I believe Daryl is dead.

 

Could be. I heard that Glenn dies from Negan but not sure if true with the show since Daryl isn't a real character in the comics they could have switched it up and killed Daryl...

 

Negan had to kill one to set an example.

Getting hit several times with a barb wire laced bat tends to kill someone IMO.

All I can say is the ending got me all worked up. Wow!!

 

This must not have been the end of the script. They must have filmed more to be released next season from this script. The reactions from the actors in the interviews does no jive with this ending. I mean compared to all the other seasons several actors said this was the worst and most gruesome and gut wrenching episode. I don't think it was by far.

 

I think it's Glenn. While I would speculate that Norman Reedus is "moving on" because he's got a new show... if you look at the new show, he doesn't have a new haircut for it. Then again, it might fall in line with the motorcycle theme to keep his hair long.

 

the first encounter with the saviors, they should have gotten out of the RV with gun's blazing and leveled them. Really they were in a rush there were only a handful of saviors, and they have 3 military trained personel in the RV. No talking, No greeting just stop, kill everything that moves and drive over the remains. What did he think they were going to be all nice because he killed a chunk of their members, and stole their arsenal. The moment they said said "we don't negotiate" it's Blammo Time. the season 6 Rick is half the warrior the season 3 and 4 rick was.

I wonder if they even know. I heard the actors don't.

This might be similar to my theory on the Glenn "is he or isn't he"
