I'm happy to help out this weekend . I just ran power and antenna wires for mine on Saturday...waiting for a mount, adapter and SWR meter to tune and test.

This was a great resource if you haven't already seen it:

I'm sure I can fit that in after the CB install if you feel like driving up to Longmont. Shoot me a PM.

ive been researching that site. just dont know anyone to go wheeling with. im not a fan of going solo. i have recovery equipment and parts (use to running 500+ miles in the so cal desert all on dirt) the forrest is a different animal to me.

Just keep an eye on this thread as the snow starts to melt.
We go wheeling all the time and everyone is typically welcome.

Except @Night Eagle . Screw that guy

So I'm headed down to the Great Sand Dunes NP this weekend, Camping Friday and Sat night (8th and 9th). a few people expressed interest in wheeling Medano Pass (as far as we can, as rumor is it's still closed). So who's all interested. Anyone looking to go camping is more than welcome to join, @CoBackCountry said he's going to camp as well @mr optimist ? @TacoVio ?

Figure we'd do what little wheeling is available sat, then hike around and snap some photos.

here's the NP site with current info
    https://www.nps.gov/grsa/planyourvisit/medano-pass-road.htm#Current

    Let me know!

Well I'll definitely be camping at least two more times between this trip and Rock Therapy (end of May)
