Has anyone notice issues with their Pop&Lock wiring harness being ran underneath the truck along side the passenger side of the frame?

I noticed many people were using this method for install (I did too) and was curious if the muffler/exhaust pipe has caused any issues? The existing wiring harness that runs in the same spot from the tailgate to the engine bay is wrapped in a heat shield type of tape. Just trying to avoid any issue with melting Pop&Lock wires

I'll try to post a picture later today if helpful. Would love anyones experience or feedback on this. TY!

Try some split loom and cover it with furnace tape. The split loom you can get from Ebay and the furnace tape from Lowe's or wherever. The furnace tape should be the shiny type.

It sucked. But towards the front of the semi-transparent plastic piece you will see two small indentions. I used two small screw drivers to push in and then wedge out. It just snaps in/out. I didn't know this at first and kind jived up the plastic a little. So I sanded the nick down and it looks fine. It is completely doable without doing that though. I just rushed it instead of observing.

I really like what you did with your tail gate. I probably missed you original post on this. Could you please tell me if this is derp or vinyl back there? If it is vinyl, where do you get it?
    TIA

Confused?? This is for the bulb correct? Not the plastic cover. I just can't get the bulbs out?

Oh. If the cover is off then it's cake. That bulb has pointy sides. On one side you can push in the connector. I think it has a hole where the pointy part fit. Once it pushed far enough in you can wedge it out with your free hand. Careful though, my bulb dropped between the seat and now I can't reach it.

I think he is talking about the dome behind your head. There is a video for the removal of the map lights, but I couldn't find one for the dome. So I just fudged my way through it. I should of recorded it. Too many scotch and stones to remember important details.

That part was the part that got me. It was also a little dark and my wife was waiting on me to finish so we could go to dinner.

    Hey All,

I was playing with the tri-fold Tonneau cover that came stock with my Tacoma and I found that I was unable to get the center fold to open. I pulled on the lever but nothing happened, no click of the release. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if its just me (am I missing something?). Is there a quick fix? Or am I going to be visiting the service center already?

    Thanks!
