Because most peolple dont want an 1800cc bike lol. Still gets about 40mpgs, my warrior was 1700ccs and I loved it. Test drovr a Raider when i was bike hunting and loved it too, just didnt love the color and chrome

 

Not a fan of chrome either. I hate the rear bumper on my truck. If I wasn't planning on doing a HC I would've painted it by now.

Haha! Are you on windows? I've been running it on my Mac and the only issue I ran into was to use the bleeding edge version to work with my radio.

Interestingly enough, my buddy uses his raspberrypi and chirp to program his.

 

Still working on finishing @tacomgee's too!

 

El Capitan 10.11.4. Have to keep the OS at the latest for work.

 

That's what I'm running too. I've had less issues with the bleeding edge version.

i think my goal this summer is to do more camping. Nicks inspired me.

 

This might be a stupid question. I came across a guy on the trail who's truck was out of engine oil. He asked if I had any but all I had was 2 quarts of diff oil. I offered them but said I had no idea if it would work. He didn't know either and declined. He was going to wait for someone to come by with oil. Any idea on if it would have worked? What would be the harm? He probably would have to go 60 miles to the closest gas station.

would assume the weight would not be good for his engine. 70/90 compared to 5/30

 

I understand it might not be good but would it work to get you down the mountain without destroying the engine.

Yeah I don't know, It might cause severe overheating or just cause the oil to break down super quick and engine failure anyways.

 

I would think the thicker oil would cause crazy high oil pressure resulting in seal and possibly pump failure.
