any of you Charleston folks know of a good butcher? I know of Burbages up in goose creek but its a little bit too far away.

it doesn't look like they do much in the way of beef. kinda like Cordrays. their ham looks frickin delicious though!

 

haha same here! looks like I just need a chest freezer and a big trip up to Burbages for some meat.

 

So who all is coming to the overland expo at the biltmore? Where is a good place to start a thread on this at?

Yea if I ever get a good freezer me and my brother in law are going to get a whole cow and have them butcher it up for us. right now I just want a solid piece of meat to grill out. the harry teet has decent meat sometimes, but I feel like a legit butcher would be able to help me out a little more.

 

yea im thinking maybe twice a year going out and getting some beautiful meat to throw on the grill. sometimes I just like to feel fancy haha. the teet is also where I get 99% of my meat at. I usually get 8 or 9 chicken breasts a week from them since theyre the cheapest and seem to never have been frozen. also, I love how its just a mountain of breasts.

 

we have a place called the stock market here in concord, good deals, and great, fresh meat. this is where I go to treat ME

Just got home. We left Sunday morning at 02:50 and retuned today at 15:20.

Drove 1540 miles for this:

 

Mileage is a good indicator if there are problems. Plus it's something else to add to the dick measuring contests on the internet.

 

I'm eating a Twix, I may be getting a little Hangry.
