I was gonna guess UPS "smart" post. It's this "genius" idea that Amazon often uses where UPS deliveres the item from the seller all the way to the local post office where it usually sits for 2-3 days while the USPS figures out how to get it to your house.

Yes, the alignment does change when changing rear lift height. Caster will change because of the relationship of the upper and lower ball joint relative to the front/back change. Also, toe can be effected resulting in the steering wheel off center due to a rear toe change because you never get the rear axle back to where it was exactly at before.

Now, that being said. If you just change rear lift height your alignment will not change any wear angles. It might just drive/feel fucky.

If you maximize caster in the front a rear lift should not affect the truck negatively to the point of needing a new alignment. Just add the caster back in next time you get it aligned

You can mathematically figure out any tire size if you know that there's 25.4mm to an inch.

    285mm section width = 11.2"
75 is the aspect ratio of the sidewall, so 11.2x.75= 8.4"
8.4" x 2 (to account for the sidewall on both sides of the wheel) = 16.8"
    16.8" + rim diameter = tire height

    So a 285/75/17 is exactly 1" taller than a 285/75/16.

Slightly narrower and a little taller than my 295/75/16s. And I like Tundra split spoke 17s....

Thank you for that! I was wondering the math and sounds like a pretty perfect tire! Is the closest to that in a 16 a 295/75r16?
