    Holy balls!

I pay $7.33/month w/o collision but with comprehensive and good limits on what I do have.
There is a massive, massive difference between racing and even aggressive riding by normal people like you and me. My KTM says oil change every 10 hours and calls for 10w-50. I've had oil analysis done and run t6 rotella 5w-40 and according to the labs I'm good until right to 25 hours so I change it between 23-25 hours which isn't too shabby for 1L of oil. It'd be nice if they let it hold 2L so I could go 50 hours but ah well.

Though there is an aftermaket mod that adds oil capacity and takes oil changes to 40 hours but meh.

I had 2 tickets on my Speed Triple. 80 in a 55, and 80 in a 45. One was written down to Failure to Observe Sign, and the other is a minor moving violation. Hopefully those will disappear this year.

New to me 2007 KTM 250 SX. Lots of trail conversion goodies. 13-52 srockets, Rekluse clutch, big gas tank, enduro engineering suspension, enduro engineering skid plate, fmf gold pipe and turbine core silencer, added trail tech tach/hour meter, has GPR steering sabilizer.

Anyways figured id post up in here to keep track of errbodies adventures and bikework. I'm uploading videos now that will be here in a few.

What does the steering stabilizer do exactly? Does it just dampen the steering? So if you hit something hard it doesn't jerk the bars? And I was doing some research on those rekluse clutches, pretty neat! How many gallons is the tank?

yes. it will mainly help dampen any small inputs like rocks trying to turn it slightly. big rocks will still jerk the bars

Sadly, no. Truck just got back from Toyota with a new frame so in the process of re-modding. Bike's taking a backburner now till the trucks in a better place.

Tank slappers are the main reason I like stabilizers. Can happen to sumo's too.

I have open chamber forks on my older KTM and it's not too bad. Main thing is to have a vise with soft jaws (I used angle aluminum and rags) to hold the fork as you're working on it and the KTM's need a thin wrench. Also buy a seal driver to make it easy.

Pulled the MCCT and cleaned behind it. The leak seems to have gone away since this winter but i wanted to check it anyway. I opted not to stuff a factory gasket in there with the big o-ring that came on the MCCT. Just put it back together as it is. If it leaks, it leaks. Fuck it.

Anybody have experience with Lectron carbs? Looking at a 36 mm at the moment. No jets would be nice.

And just my luck I stripped a damn aluminum hole. Fuck me. Now to figure out a helicoil. Done for the night with the motor in the frame. I'll be able to button everything up just can't run it till I get that fixed.
