Could possibly just be the pictures. It is definitely fitting for the style of the truck and bumper. However, it may not be for everyone. Keep in mind, it is aluminum and we don't offer the full guard in aluminum. Only in steel. So something like this might be more your style? We'll likely have all the armor for the 4th gen done before next tax season!

Yeah, I picked them up used for $110. I'm going to go by 4WP and get some more wiring and a switch and then work on installing them.
If you want to come see light output when they're in, you're more than welcome too.

I'll be doing that. I wanna see the quality of the skids as well for future purchases.

I'd say 1 would be the most practical mod, might save you one day. It's on my list of things to do. I've got vented/drilled rotors on mine right now, but it doesn't seem like enough. If you're seats are rough, I'd go with the covers second. Good brakes and comfort would be noticed every time you drive, even though they don't carry the cool factor of the skids.

At $415 shipped I feel like it was a steal. I did opt for the 1/8th thickness so the weight definitely helped with shipping prices. I cut them open and by first glance, they definitely look worth it.

Need to swap the engine first haha. Once it is running, I'll tag it. Meanwhile, I plan to start thinking about bumper designs.

Front and rear? Are you also doing sliders?
I will be in for a rear bumper assuming swingout

I know this may be a little too far down the line but do you have a timeline for these?

Rounding home plate on the supercharger install. I haven't had food since noon so I figured it was time for a break. 3 hours in, going well so far.

The wiring loom bracket decided to be a bitch, and the nut will not come off so I just broke it and everything is good now!

Just need to tighten belts, make a dipstick adapter, and find all the crap I could hear falling into the engine bay all afternoon.

Very. I'd much prefer to support a local business and the fact that I won't have shipping costs is always a plus. I've been considering a body lift recently (something small, maybe 1 inch to help with rubbing) so I've been pondering the thought of selling my front bumper somewhere down the time and picking up a body-life-compatible one. Only time will tell but this is music to my ears.

Well you can as good as consider me a buyer for some sliders and a rear bumper when they do come out, assuming timing isn't too far down the line. Very excited to see this.
