You should call Toyota and complain. Seems like Toyota really cares about customer service, at least on the selling side. I can't imagine they would take too kindly to the way that dealership handled themselves. Also on the dealership survey make your displeasure known because Toyota will see that too.

They are amateurs. I bought a highlander XLE on saturday for the wife ,once we reached an agreement on trade in and price of vehicle I called my bank and got approved for the financing on the phone told the dealership and they let us go and I left the trade in with them they give 5 days for check to arrive which the bank will take care of.
Now we both are rollin in 2016 Toyota's

 

I have a ticket open with corporate as of 3 hours ago. Really hoping corporate lays the smack down and I can walk into that shitty dealership with everyone fawning for my satisfaction. But with 24-48h estimate to get to the ticket, I may have the truck by then. Either way, I'll make damn sure Toyota corporate knows what I think of the dealership.

Has anyone done a rear disk conversion on a 2016? I am still shocked Toyota did rear drums on these trucks. I still love it though and I'm sure it wouldn't make too much of a difference. Just curious.

 

Ditto on the disappointment in rear drums. I guess Toyota said if it ain't broke don't fix it. Bought a new $32k 2014 F150 with 4 wheel disc brakes. My 2016 base model $21k Escape "s" has 4 wheel disc brakes. And this is the "next" generation Tacoma. I guess maybe they will be on the 2025 model change trucks or on the next $40k Limiteds. Maybe they figured they will work ok with the underpowered V6 engine. Still waiting for tuners.

 

Don't just show your mpg's with out showing your fuel gauge.my Tacoma resets every time I get fuel show us your mpg's when you have a quarter tank of fuel left. I can make my average look good between 3/4 and full. So please don't post unless you show you fuel gauge.
