    Yea guys, Bob is great to work with. I installed my temp, homelink mirror in about 90 minutes taking my time. If you get the temp it comes with a probe you have to run thru your firewall.
    It then plugs right into the mirror. As mentioned above there are pictures here on TW and Bob's handout that has the setup instructions. I dig mine. it works great and the price is awesome.

    Indeed! Bob is top notch. He sent me the instructions even before I placed the order. printed them out and have them for when it comes in. Might be a little bit before I can install it though, or attempt to at least. Now that the weather is getting better, we have something going on every weekend. Parties, kids stuff, etc. But definitely looking forward to getting it and installing it!

    I should have warned you about that....I was over at a neighbors and happened to see the mail man standing on my porch leaving the "we missed you notice." and was able to run over and snag it from him...Honestly though, I wish more shippers required SOD...it would cut down on package thefts.

    No worries, all good. The minute I got the notification via email I went right on the USPS site and requested the redelivery for tomorrow. Better safe than sorry with the SOD though... especially if you're the shipper and the item is $$. It ensures that the right person receives it.

    I received mine from Bob on Tuesday and just installed it today. Took about an hour or so to install. Hardest part was getting the wires through the firewall! I used a hard plastic straw then ran the wires through the straw. Works great and the home link was easy to set up.

    just where the instructions showed. in front of the radiator and underneath the factory temp sensor. the compass i think needed to calibrate itself, which it did from driving around the block a few times. now its exactly what the gps compass is.

    So apparently my redelivery request I set up online through the USPS website and email confirmation I received was just a crock of BS. Requested it on Friday for Saturday, received email confirmation but nothing showed up on Saturday. Tracking doesn't even show I requested a redelivery.

    Luckily my wife is home on maternity leave with our second right now so I got her to go to the post office and pick up my box this morning.

    Damn USPS!

    This is so awesome, I am without a doubt doing this mod!!
    Hate the head unit weather and cardinal directions.... when you don't have service (often times when having fun in the truck) then they don't work which is no bueno.

    This is the most useful mod I've done to date. I use the temp feature every time I'm in the truck. Not sure how I lived without autodim before this and Homelink's a definite bonus.

    I like this mirror so much that, when my first 2015 was totaled by a red light runner, it was one of the accessories I made sure I pulled from it. A new wiring kit from Bob, and voila, mirror installed on the new 2015.
