I haven't checked since installing, or been off road, but should be able to notice due to our high pollen count right now. I'll check later today.

How much resale value does those Fords retain? I can promise you not as much as the Toyota. I purchased a 2010 Prerunner new for $24,000 and in February I traded it in with 92,000 miles and they gave me $14,500 for it.

Then ask yourself this, why did they switch to them on the tundra. Doesn't anybody off-road a tundra? And you know the answer is yes they do.

I can actually answer that for fact, the Toyota Tacoma is number one in the resell value, not Toyota Corperation, but the Tacoma its self. Out of all the vehicles sold in the United States. The Toyota Tacoma is number one in re sale value.

Resale value is a perk... On a depreciating asset. If we want to talk about depreciation we should all just be driving econoboxes which have no room to go down in value. Buy the truck you want (and can hopefully afford). Fuck worrying about what it's worth in 10 years, because if you bought it for future resale value you bought it for the wrong reasons.

He mentioned a couple pages back that they were $400 and I am sure he had to pay for shipping both ways on his stock housings. Not too bad of a price considering what I have read points to getting these apart to be a pretty difficult adventure, at least compared to a 2nd gen.

The easiest way is to pull the entire unit down out of the roof and remove the bulbs from the back of it. It is only heald in by 4 clips and comes out very easy.

In the release video last year, they claimed that they left drums on the rear for sand and mud reasons; less noise.

well I think as he stated in the video the Tacoma is not as commonly used to haul heavy loads so keeping the breaks cool is not as big of a concern. I would guess a Tundra would be more likely to be used to pull larger loads since it is a bigger truck so putting disk breaks makes more since on the Tundra. That's what I got from the video anyway. Dont understand why so many people are so negative on this site about this truck
