    On the bump stop note- Superbumps are pretty great for fast stuff as well AS LONG AS THEY ARE SPACED CORRECTLY. It's much better to have something that's gonna give a little bit and then slow down your suspension than a hockey puck that's gonna compress maybe 1/4" and make everything stop. @12TRDTacoma I don't care what kind of bumps you are running, if you are hitting stuff hard enough to slam the bump stop hard enough to bend a spindle, then you need to look at your shock valving way before you start thinking about your bumps. Bumps should be the very last thing your suspension is touching, and that's when you are hitting stuff that's probably blowing through your shocks.

    Softness has nothing to do with how far your wheel travels up in to your wheel well. If it's spaced down to where it stops your wheel/UCA before it impacts your wheel well then it's done its job.

    Sounds to me like you're completely out talenting your own set up and blaming super bumps.

    Mine are spaced down and I have 315s. I just checked clearance on the front and rear. They didn't hit and won't hit. I rubbed the piss out of my wheel well with 285s and stock bumps.

    Also, some of us don't have room to frankenstein a hydro bump in to their front suspension.

    I would, but my Camburg kit says bumps or bypasses, so I decided triple bypasses would serve me alot better, and my Superbumps will work just fine with that

    I'm pretty sure you could run no bumps at all with bypasses as long as you set them up correctly because that last bit of their travel can be used as a substitute for a bump.

    True, but there are sometimes when no amount of valving is gonna save you and I'd much rather have a bump thats gonna compress a bit than a hockey puck

    Yes, yes... shock valving. I know, I have heard that before. But the bumps are still part of the equation. Too soft and you go blowing through your valving all the way to the top of its travel and you still have to consider frame flex.


    Go hit the whoops at 50-60 and let me know how they work out for you. That will tell me everything I need to know.

    I'd rather have a bump that compresses as well, but I'd rather have one that isn't so soft. Idk. Different strokes for different folks I guess right?

    I run stock hockey pucks in the rear and I can't even feel when it hits them, just because its hard doesn't mean your vehicles weight can't compress them, I would like to see someone compress hydro bumps with their hands

    i think you forgot to realize this is mid travel, not long travel section.

    Superbumps are fine for people who install them properly and dont out talent their trucks. Also dont believe anyone specifically suggested superbumps for the type of wheeling you're using as examples.
