At 3.5 months on the frame waiting list. Gonna let the dealer deal with it.

Oh man that would drive me crazy having that sitting around and having to wait. I'm way to impatient. Good luck though.

Finally getting my alignment done today, a little more than a week later. Truck still drives great but I do notice the front tires have a little \ \---/ / to them possibly after everything settling but it still passed the free alignment check I had done. I will post some before and after alignment specs with stock UCA's later for anyone who may be interested.

These are the specs I got from my toyota dealership before and after alignment today. The guy told me that while adjusting the camber to spec, the caster would go out of spec therefore he couldn't get it perfect. I knew it wouldn't be but he got the camber as good as he could so the tires shouldn't really show any abnormal wear. I don't know much about this but basically he said seeing as the caster was off, the tire just sits at a different position within the wheel well, in this case my tires sit a little forward.

If anyone wants to explain this a little better I would like to know as well. He basically said my tires are now straight up and down but they sit more towards the front of the wheel well and shouldn't affect the drive or tire wear.

I understand the need for aftermarket UCA's now however I believe I should be ok for a while being as I'm mostly a city driver. If anyone can let me know what they think, what I should watch out for, or anything that could go wrong let me know. Thanks!

Sweet, I should be fine with stock UCAs for a little while as well then. I plan on buying TC in a few months, just wanted to make sure the 885 would be fine to run until I actually got the TC UCAs.

I will follow this thread for more of an explanation on how the alignment all works, should be interesting because i have no idea how it all works.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you man. I figure it should be good for driving around town. The only way I see an issue with caster is if off roading and flexing, I'd assume it would hit the wheel well easier. But, I haven't been there yet.

haha thanks I'm glad to hear man! I did months of research before pulling the trigger because I wanted to make sure I knew what I was buying and what the outcome was going to be. It's been a week now and I'm still extremely happy with the look and ride quality.
The 887's should yield 3" on a 4X4. I was told 2WD get about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch more due to less weight which is why I got 3" out of the 885's. Definitely get the UCA's if you can afford them.
I wouldn't recommend preloading the spring at different settings on the 5100's. Leave them at 0 as that seems to be the census on TW for best ride quality. I suppose you could go to the first .85 setting for an extra inch but I don't really see anyone doing that especially with the 887's. I believe the settings are more for the stock springs so if you care about having a smooth ride I would keep it at 0.
When are you thinking about pulling the trigger!?

Just got the approval from my wife, I am going to pull the trigger on this setup. 885 springs for now. once I get TC UCA, I will go with the 887 springs.

And finally here are some before and after measurements after install on my 2WD prerunner after a week and a half of driving and alignment. These measurements are from the top of my wheel hub to the fender just because it was easier to hook the tape measurer from this point.
*note, this is for a 2WD*

    Before:
    FD 19 1/8"
    FP 19 1/8"
    RD 20 1/8"
    RP 20 1/8"
    After:
    FD 22 1/8"
    FP 22"
    RD 22 1/8"
    RP 22 1/8"

3" up front and 2" in back which pretty much leveled me out perfectly. I'm assuming theres a 1/8 difference in the front because I only have about a half a tank of gas at the time.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and input! I would hopefully like to keep this thread going for anyone with questions about this same setup and a place to post pictures of the same setup. I love seeing everyone else's rigs!

Hell yeah good for you man! I couldn't get approval so I just saved up my holiday cash so she couldn't say anything haha. The OME setup should treat you well as I believe those shocks are nicer than the 5100's. Don't be a stranger and post it back up in here!

Thanks for sharing this. I think I am going to go with the same setup, but use the OME 884 coils instead of the 885 for a slightly decreased lift in the front. I also have an access cab which is lighter; and a very slight rake would not bother me. Hopefully the 884s help in keeping the factory UCAs within spec. Good thread!

There you go buddy thanks! It's threads like this that helped with my research and ultimately led to my decision on what to buy from other peoples experience. Don't forget to come back when it's done!
