EE, no specific field. I mainly studied circuit design. When I first started, I was basically "studying/practicing" what I went to school for... I even solved an issue/issues they had with one of their modules "same day I started"... LOL!!! Then Mr. Dippy above me decided to quit and move and they moved me into his spot... and from THERE, for the past 10yrs, I've been "pressing buttons" troubleshooting devices with very little circuit design and/or opportunities to do so! Finally, what kicked the bucket over, they started putting me out into the field troubleshooting buildings. It goes on and on. Denny, trust me, I am NOT the type of person that complains about, "that's not part of my job description...". Even though I did mention that earlier and it sounds contradictory on my part, but what they were doing was just simply putting me into a totally different type of profession, if you will. Or put it another way, I simply had no vested interest in the field work because if I was to go to another company, installing/troubleshooting a building is NOT the same as circuit design!!! Sorry, it just isn't!!! I even designed a TESTER for a particular module that they sell... not a very complicated circuit really, trust me. I was in the middle of redoing the design using a uController and programming code. I could talk to you later about it if you care to? Simply put, I didn't care for the direction of the company and the positions they were putting me towards!!! It benefitted them, but definitely not me???!!! I should have saw this coming years ago and THAT is the stupidity on my part, not gonna lie about that.

Yes Bryan, you are basically correct. They started putting me on jobs that involved radio equipment work among the many other jobs I had to do. I don't know how to "pull" antenna feedlines, but I definitely have an understanding of the different radio systems... well, enough to be somewhat dangerous... LOL!!! I do have a fear of heights though, pretty bad actually. I could be sitting in a jumbo jet crusing at an altitude of 15k ft, looking out the window, and not be scared of heights. Put me on a 20ft ladder and I'm done bro!!! LOL!!! There is that feeling of not being stable is what I think it is? Plus, falling out of a 20+ft tree when I was a kid, probably, didn't help matters... LOL!!! At least the branches broke my fall AND I was still holding on to the scissors that I had in hand... LOL!!! I can still picture it in my mind to this very day... LOL!!! I was TRYING to build a tree house on my own and just happen to have scissors for some reason or another? Anyways... sorry for offtopic response... I just brought up the heights issues because I wouldn't be a very good candidate for climbing towers and/or ladders... LOL!!! But yeah, radio systems have been introduced to me. Circuit design is what I am interested in though.

Bro, reminds me that I gotta get some milk!!! LOL!!! Hi Ron!!! LMAO man!!!

Mostly print production based stuff, flyers, web banners, poster/billboard, logo design. Hoping to get into html soon. Everyone wants that..
As for level, I've been working in this field for 4 years, obtaining my AA in graphics this summer. But technically a 'junior' designer by industry standards.
    I appreciate it Jim!

HTML isn't too hard to learn, so I've heard from a few friends. I'm learning how to setup html websites in class currently, I'll let you know what I think of the difficulty if you want

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I used to develop web back ends and databases on the side, I've kinda let it fall off for now. Short answer: HTML5 + CSS3 + javascript for front end development, BUT, be prepared to be at war with cheap hash markup-reuse and India.

If you wanna talk further on it let me know, I've a lot of experience in that realm.

Awesome, yeah i wouldn't say I'm all that keen on learning it, not a passion or anything but most graphics jobs I've been looking for want someone who can do literally...everything. I'm sure we'll get some campfire talk about it in Idyllwild. Thanks man.
    Keep me posted!
