Thanks, yup got a jd2 bender with the harbor freight air ram jack. I'm using 1.75 DOM. I'm doing the same thing with trying to tuck this thing close to the cab as I can. i want good head clearance for driving around town without a helmet. My cheap tube notcher is a dream. I can make really nice tight joints. It should be fun. I get excited when I get to do tube work.

They are hard to find used. Check Craigslist, race dezert and dezert rangers forums. New goes for about 700 for bender, die, and harbor freight jack.

Yeah that's why I resulted to asking the internet people. Even with all my shop connects I can find used or unneeded ones.
I am in process of weaseling a electric/hydro press that I will make into a press break though. Just gonna take an act of god to get it in a truck and into my shop... thanks man

I found mine on CL, Its a Mittler Bros. came with 5 sets of dies (no 1.75 damnit), hydraulic over pneumatic setup. Got it for $800. Paid for itself within 2 jobs.

I'm no good at the whole Craigslist deal. Only reason I'm on here so much today is we are a little slow and I'm getting out early to pickup my taxes from my guy... usually by the time I see stuff in there someone already is in route with cash...

Press brake is next on my list, but I might just do a harbor freight 20 ton press and find the die right for be. It just be for brackets and tabs. Maybe 3/16" plate for a long travel kit

Watched a few you tube vids of people just making bs ones. That being said I'd be worried bending aluminum cans with the ones they made. I wanna have something capable of taking limbs off if you're not paying attention lol
