I think it is. If you felt the material side by side it feels twice as thick. As for the floor it's Bearing rated for 1300 pounds vs the original 650.

I wish they had a better side by side comparison. It would make the obvious much easier to see. ;)

That's awesome! What did you use for power for the heater? Does the tent plug into cigarette lighter or how does that work?

For what it is worth, I think they are out at a show this week or last. Bobby said something about that. It was a few weeks ago but I had really good response from him and his wife. They called me back fast on a Sunday and were in the shop to answer some questions I had and take a down payment.

I have nothing against CVT, in fact I was looking forward to their green summit series, it was just a matter of time and $$...

I used a Buddy heater (the big buddy heater). I think you could get away with a smaller one though. Yes, the tent USB and LED plugs into a cigarette lighter plug. I used a DIY plug ran of two 12v batteries so I don't know how much it effected the truck battery.

I used the big one but it was overkill and took up a lot of room. I already had it so I used it. I'll be looking for a smaller one.

A few pictures of the DIY 12v system. Super simple. Lasted three days no problem without any additional charging. Light load, iPhone, iPad (movies at night), LED's, and a beats pill for music. Just like the Hilton.

I would be a big fan if it wasn't for the green. I almost bought the kukenam XL ruggedized from tepui the other day but this summit series looks better and plus the discount doesn't hurt haha

Earthtone green is already out for the non-summit tents too.

I wasn't a fan either but it grew on me and I didn't want to wait. I do like the color now. Much better in person.

Where's the DIY on how to make that 12v system?

What have other people used for alternative battery instead of the truck battery?

Guys if your interested in splitting the cost of shipping let me know. Kevin I can get yours to Anderson pretty easy and Eddie I have been known to go home to Charleston just for lunch downtown. Or we can all meet up in Columbia.
