Sacrifice's Crunchy Taco

I'm thinking STT pro's or Dynapro MT's, but seeing @Sacrifice run the KO2s in 35s has me tossing around the idea of them as well.

 

They are one of the best (if not the best) AT tire, I don't want to run an AT or else I'd probably get those.

 

I like my Cooper mtp's

 

They really do well in everything besides deep mud. I've had them in fresh snow and rain without issues.

I think they are just fine unless you plan to get in mud. Nice and quiet for long drives and smooth.

 

I want them for deep snow, MTR's are the best for that hoping stt pro's are as good with all the siping and how well the clear lugs

 

@m3bassman has had them in 14 inches of snow with good luck. I feel like the at will perform way better in slick conditions as well

 

Yeah I bet in slick stuff but I've had good luck with MT's in rain, never slid or broke loose unless I actually tried to. Every tire is terrible on ice without studs so nothing you can really do about that

 

Now I'm really considering Ko2s again. @m3bassman do you still have them on your rig?

I have the DynoPros and I've been happy with them but his ko2s are awesome. Sometimes I would slip and he would walk right up and vise versa, but I don't think my MT outperformed his AT at all. Actually with his tire being quiet on the street I would say its a better all around tire

 

Thanks for the info! I'm looking to make a decision within the next week or so. Have you had a chance to use your Dynapros in the snow?

 

I love the MTRs in the rocks..better then any other tire I've seen in everything except ice and hard pack snow. There they just suck..like...deadly bad.

 

I have just found that they don't grip as well on rock, they aren't bad per say in rocks but don't grip as well as some other tires. Only other thing I don't like is they require so much weight to balance/hard to keep balanced, had to get them rebalanced twice now since last July. Other than that I love them!

 

I found they where much better at grip then my km2s. And they where no slouches either. May try airing down more if you're not impressed. They have very stiff side walls.

Yea they don't wear good. Why I never recommend them for a dd/weekend warrior.

 

Doesn't help they are E rated with kevlar I usually air down to 12psi with my 285's during summer wheeling, don't want to slip off a rock and break a bead

 

I'm at 10psi on 35x12.5r15

 

Yeah I've had dynopros for about 50k between these and my last set of 285s. Really the only downfall is ice but it's a MT with zero siping, but they are studdable if your really concerned. I've had good luck with mileage, will likely see 45-50k before I sell them. Next tire will probably be the ko2

 

I've been airing down to 15psi and these tire flex pretty well IMO.

 

BFGs always do.
