    Dave, I can't make the trip but what we could do is have it shipped through our account. We get kick ass rates through our trucking company. Let me know and we will help a brotha out. Will need weight and the dimensions of the pallet, the pick up address and their hours. I can have it shipped to me, then I can bring to you. Probably won't be much, maybe $175ish.

    @68dave

    I meant to ask you considering you've done many of these swaps, any special tips or tricks you learned when swapping the 3.4's? I'm going to get moving on it next week.

    It's a straight forward swap. I've read that some people pull the harness with the engine, i never understood why. I just unhook the wiring from the engine then bungee cord the wiring out of the way. Good thing about the wiring harness is it has memory so after the replacement engine is in place simply remove the bungee and the harness pretty much falls back in place back into its original position. I never disconnect the AC lines or PS lines. I unbolt the compressor and PS pump and use a coat hanger to secure them out of the way in the engine bay while removing & installing the engine. If my memory serves me well i think i leave the starter bolted in place also. And like i mentioned to you i don't even pull the hood off when swapping a 3.4. If you were closer i would lend a hand.

    I also pull them with the exh. manifolds & rear crossover pipe still attached to the engine. I just unbolt the 3 nuts from the exh. down pipe. As you know that 4runner isn't rusty so it should come apart with no issues.

    I plan to start sometime next week or the following weekend. Just going to take my time, mark which hoses and wires go where, take pics and go slow. I've done engine swaps before but always on old vehicles that aren't full of electronics.

    My first concern is to get that spare motor out of the back. Don't want all that weight in it for too long. Would hate to get the runner lean.
