Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I personally like my bender, he may have an attitude but it gets the job done.

Happily the Walker will be under deconstruction/construction for the foreseeable future. Ahhh fuck it maybe a day trip for some wheeling because I know the camping portion is filled up. Keep me on the maybe and I'll hold off on tearing it apart.

Go back to fixing the 4runner lol

Can't wait to see it. Also here's a question, how does having an exterior affect gas mpg.

I'll be camping Friday thru Sunday. I need to request off work that day, but I don't think that is an issue.

Get a used flux core to learn on. They weld pretty bad, but a good cheap buzz box to learn on. Don't make suspension parts. They do weld like bird shit. I used one for a few years before my mig

I don't really plan on welding anything onto the current taco, if anything it would be a bed rack or something that doesn't affect the reliability of my truck. I'll look into a used flux core welder, I heard mig welders were pretty decent?

Mig are a bit expensive because you need a gas bottle too. Just look for a Lincoln 100 or something like that. Last time I looked they are all over Craigslist for $100. You can upgrade later down the road if you really get into welding. You'll know what you want when you have experience.

So I'm thinking we do potluck style! Everyone bring a dish(doesn't have to be an exorbitant amount) and Saturday night we'll drink and be merry and get fat!

So the 15 committed peeps, chime in if you're cool with that!

Tonight I'll hop on the computer and start researching meet spots and dial in the details! Wooooooo! :drunk:

I understand it's easy to get in a convo with someone on a thread but I'd like to keep this thread focused on this trip and plans that people have. Sorry to be the ball busta, but I'm sure y'all understand !:D:thumbsup: Thanks!!!!

Sounds awesome. I'll make some EZ Jambalaya. If we decided on starting with Bee Canyon. The dirt lot at the entrance is fairly large. Everyone can air down and whatnot there. There's also a gas station a few miles before the entrance to the trail. On Ramona Expy and 74.
