Don't have them on mine. Why are you picking Rough Country?

I have run it on my truck for over a year. No problems, and I am happy with it.

I'm running it on mine. No problems, but with that said, I'm replacing it. It was a temporary purchase for me with the intention to replace from the beginning.

I'm in the same boat, this will be my first lift and I want to do it myself so I'm double and triple checking stuff before I pull the trigger on it

Watch what tire size you run with it too. It creates a steep angle on your UCA being 3" as well (I got aftermarket TC UCAs). With my 285/70/17s on the stock sport wheels I had to put spacers on to keep the tires from rubbing on the UCAs. You can see the things I've done on my build (in my sig).

^THIS^ I've heard pro comp can be a little more stiff? No experience with it just what I've researched. I'm sure it would be fine but this kit is VERY smooth and rides better than stock. Especially if you're doing mostly road driving.

I can see how the price tag is appealing, but a couple hundred more, you'll get a kit that will ride way better off/on the road. Just my 2 Cents, and many here I'm sure will support the use the 5100's over RC any day.

running the 285's did you have to do a CMC after putting spacer in? If I go that big I'm gonna drop to a 16x8 rim with a 4.5" backspace and do a 285/75/r16

No, I didn't have to do a CMC. No cutting at all. I removed my fender flares and inner fenders for personal preference.

different coils will get you different height depending on the model truck you have, and if you're running any additional weight up front.
884's if you're single/access cab.885's are what a lot of guys run with double cabs. 887's if you have armor.

For the rear, you'll need an AAL to get to the height you want. 3-leaf AAL tend to ride a bit smoother over a single AAL.

Shoot over a message to Marie with Headstrong, and she'll get you setup with everything you need to get the height and ride you want.

I just looked it up, for the extra 400 it would cost just to get the parts for the single AAL I'm gonna have to think about if its worth the extra money for the time being, I would like the better on/off road ride but that's a decent amount difference

I think this is probably the best introductory lift that provides performance improvements. Plenty of cheap options out there but you get what you pay for. There's suspension group buys going on right now if you want to go that route too.

Personally, I'm waiting for the bilstein buy. I'm looking at the 6112's and 5160's with a 3-leaf AAL. Would get me right around 2.5" which is perfect because I'm not looking to add UCAs. Maybe down the road I might.
