Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
On a more serious note: what's the stance on carrying in this area? I know some people shoot in Idyllwild, curious how everyone feels about it. I tend to keep at least something with me at camp sites... Usually a .38... often an AK-pattern.

There used to be a range in Idyllwild, down the road by Idyllwild Arts Academy. It closed after a fire was started by a ricochet. There is shooting in Bee Canyon. Don't know if that answers your question though .

Somewhat. I know technically in CA law a campsite is your "temporary residence" and possession of, even concealed, firearms for self defense is ok. But a lot of times other things, or people, make it complicated.

Do your thing. Id be down to do some shooting where it's permitted to do so.

@bigbarlo since bee canyon has a staging area, maybe us Friday people meet there, head up into Idyllwild get lunch or whatever and head to the creek campsite. Then Saturday do Thomas/rouse then black mountain..? Thoughts

What is the question? Carrying at the campsite? I personally don't care but you might want to ask the people who are bringing kids. Might make it awkward.

On a side note, does anyone want to do some fishing at the creek? Might have to limit it to 3 or 4 folks though. If so, bring your micro gear.
