Can you find stickers?

 

So there has to be at least a few NE tacoma owners who surf fish, how do you transport your rods in the bed of your taco? Looking for a nice clean way to transport 4-6 rods between 7 and 11 feet long. Thanks,

im looking to transport them on top now because two of my rods dont come apart and are too long to fit in the short bed

 

Yeah definitely looking to avoid putting them on the roof. Maybe will have to use one of those magnetic holders that go on the hood and roof

Just asked the same question in the wheeling thread, guess that answers that. Most of us have been there. I went before the winter, the main "hill climb" under the powerlines is gone from transmission line construction. I haven't been back since last fall though.

 

We usually enter off of a road to the North east of there. I think the gate to the wheeling area is closed from that road except in the winter when it's opened for snow mobiles.

 

yea so i was out there last weekend,and a cpl weeks before that.. and its accessible all year even in the winter. some gates will be closed but still plenty of trails year round...

 

glad to hear, no trouble from cops or no trespassing sign I take it? can't wait to check it out at some point and drag along my jeep driving cousin

Most of the trails are technically town roads, so fair game. Under the transmission line and in the gas line easement are illegal to drive on. However I don't think it's too strictly enforced.

 

Me too, except on two wheels. The old DR should outperform any trail rig, and I can drive it home!

 

After two black trucks, I went 20 years with white trucks till I got a black Tacoma. No more black. At least the F'n'J is all white.

 

Not a chance the DR would make some of the shit we go through. I could drive it home too, just dont want to register and insure it.

 

It was a piece of junk. I would break something pretty much every time I went wheeling. but it was fun for awhile .
