Have you been to Anza Borrego before? I've been there quite a few times, but more shooting than offroading, by far! I like shooting my rifles, but burning dinosaurs is more fun to me... LOL!!!

Bros, another thing that I have crack cravings for (i.e. just like my Doritos) is a big A$$ Slurpee... gonna head out to the "7-11, 7-11, 7 even back do' lil' joe..." to go get my Slurpee fix!!! LOL!!! Sorry, had to quote Ice Cube as it aptly fit... LOL!!!

    L8r people, until tomorrow!!!

Cut out your current grill, make a satoshi and put the Toyota letters on that, mount the light bar behind the grill. That is if it isnt too long
That's an idea I'm entertaining currently, night runs

Good morning @madsand Sandz. Sandz would you want to go back to Anza right around Oct, Nov, and/or Dec? Nick would like to go right around the 2nd wk of Dec because of school.

Btw, nice mtn bike. I bought a GT hard tail back in 2011 (i.e. old school "triple triangle" GT style frame). It has much lower end components, but was bought mainly for riding back/forth to work, which I did on occassion. I bought mtn road type tires so the knobbies wouldn't slow me down when riding on the street. Bro, when I first road the bike with the mtn bike tires (i.e. knobbies), I couldn't WAIT to buy the road tires, LOL!!! I bought extra rims and put the road tires on it along with the index gears so now I have "hot swaps" (i.e. I can go from road tires to mtn bike tires and viceversa FAST). Anyways, nice bike bro. I don't think I will be able to do crazy downhill mtn bike shi- though?! Maybe back in the day when I was a dumb kid that didn't know what pain was, but nowadays, gotta watch out for breaking my hips... LOL!!! If that happens, I'll be seeing you in the hospital... LOL!!!:rofl::thumbsup:

Oh, before I forget, try to get an aftermarket for your Baofeng, bro!!! You just MIGHT gain a mile or two, possibly more, with an aftermarket due to efficiency of the aftermarket antenna. I don't know if you know this, but Ej was trying to receive a radio signal, 101.5 KGB, from San Diego and it was nothing but static on yours, whereas mine was receiving fairly well. A bit of static, but definitely could hear the station quite well! Basically, what is going on when TX on a antenna, your radio is trying to output whatever wattage output it has and, typically for a stock duckie antenna, MOST of that wattage is wasted because of the efficiency of the stock antenna or lack there of! So the less wattage output the less miles that you will be able to TX (i.e. transmit) to!!! Plus, your RX (i.e. receive) will increase because of sensitivity, if you will and/or "gain". I'd have to look up the gain on my aftermarket, if it even has any, but stock duckies... bro... they just SUCK all around!!! Can't say it enough!!!

Ron, when you get a chance, you might wanna get an aftermarket for yours as well!!!

Hi Ron... I don't care... I'm gonna bring MY cereal. Ain't NOBODY gonna make fun of my "Two Scoops of Raisins"... LOL!!! Btw, you gotta try honey (i.e. extra honey) on your cereal bro... tastes soooooo good!!! LOL!!!
Happy Wheel'n bros and a VERY HAPPY DAY!!! :fistbump::thumbsup:

I down for anza depending on the schedule.

Yea definately knobbie is not good on road. I have two bike one for downhill and one for road. Btw GT is good bike they step up with there game they also have a great downhill team men and women division team Atherton and there brother and sister.

Yeap those rubber duckie antenna sucks but work just fine for what I need for now. Save some $ for truck mod that I really need.

I'm hoping to go to summit this year, last year I broke my arm before I could make it. I usually ride San Clemente single tracks, Santiago Oaks, Luge, Whiting Ranch, Waterworks. I've been to Laguna Canyon once and never Aliso. I've also only been riding for about a year now.

    cool man

Oh yea Santiago oaks it's fun also good spot for climbmers. But we shuttle that one too. We drop at the towers and end up at the old water damn.

Aliso is fun! Good work out. Dripping caves is fun trail, Lynx and rocket, careful at the rock garden section a lot of people get air lifted over there. If you don't have full suspension bike don't hit it.

Last summer the sd guys and i did a lot of night runs from 7pm to like 3am. It was pretty spontaneous. I'm going to be in the middle of a cage so I won't be planning anything until I'm done. It's about high 80s to 90 at night. The trucks have ac. One run it was 107 at night but that was a nasty heat wave. Could always do Johnson valley. High desert is slightly cooler.
