Ahh, ok. Fortunately I have weathertechs so the water just went onto the mats. Definitely look for a loose grommet.

Yep that's the plan, I plan to go in this weekend and seal everything that may look suspicious and hopefully I fix this problem.

I had the same problem when I first trimmed and massaged for 35s. When you remove the fender liners, there is a small holes which use to be covered by a plug or bolt and its now exposed. Pull your carpet back and shine a light through there and see if you can find it shining through the firewall. It was near the pinch welds. At least that was my problem.

So here's an update I stumbled on to today. It rained today in San Diego and I checked under my mat and a puddle had formed, the truck was sitting not be driven, But it was only on the passenger side... So the conclusion I have is I need to seal all grommets and all holes possible in the wheel wells and in the floor boards. Than after seal the windshield and the AC duct as well. Apparently I have multiple water issues... More to come as I look into these issues

I would think if it was sitting its most likely the windshield.

This is the first time I've seen a puddle while sitting, I never suspected it was something like that because with car washes I don't find any water. So now that I have water while driving and while sitting I'm just gonna seal everything I see

The windshield has been a problem for others it wouldn't surprise me. The other thing I could see if you was driving but just sitting water has to be coming from The outer shell, not from the under body.

Once I seal the windshield, how am I supposed seal the AC duct? It's just an open hole and blocking it isn't really an option.. If it's the vent not closing I guess I could seal around it and clear any debri that might be in there

I'm not sure. I never heard of anyone that needed to do this. But I'm curious as to how and if its needed.

As for the windshield. Did you consult a windshield pro or just a diy fix. I think I would have it replaced under warranty or insurance by a pro. Its known to leak on some trucks on the lower seal and maybe hard to re seal.

I have to do some research on the duct, as for the windshield I'm gonna take a look this weekend and see if I can place some clear seal along the bottom. It would be hidden by the plastic vent on top. It just kinda makes me wonder why a car wash wouldn't make water come in but rain would...
