i had the wind noise in my front passenger door... until i added a rubber hose 3/8" OD from the front of the door to the top back between the foam gasket and the metal of the door.

So having just debadged my truck, I broke the 4x4 and both Limited plastics.

I have both of the TACOMA and the V6 plastics, although one of the TACOMA badges has a slight crack right in the center. One of you OCD people would notice it but once dipped, probably not.

Just thinking out loud - what would be a FAIR price for these 3?

The place where the letters are is pretty smooth. It's colder than a well diggers bum here so I used a heat gun to warm up the sills after cleaning them good with soap and water and a alcohol prep pad. The liberal soapy water method lets you slide them around a bit. Blotted them dry with a paper towel then used the heat gun again. It seemed to smooth them out and stick better.

The reason they cannot add it to another Tacoma for one is that there are none. The plant is at 108% capacity, and cannot supply the demand for the covers yet. Yes the railings are different (you can notice some of it is actually trimmed), but they can't even provide enough covers for the ones that are coming out of factory. Additionally, I have heard of leaking issues so this is not something they are going to just throw together. My understanding is that all Toyota Tacoma Accessories are on back order until further notice. It took me almost 3 months to get a set of floor liners for a customer

I'm currently in Tuscaloosa AL. I was actually doing a seminar at Mercedes Benz, so I wasn't really worried about it. At the tire shop now so it's all good!

Want to sell me your chrome ones once you get them off? I want to try to experiment removing the chrome to reveal the black plastic underneath with the bead blaster at work. I have some very fine medium that should just leave a mat finish. Then I could maybe clear coat them.

Had my chrome bumper end caps sanded down and sprayed with Line-X to match my front grill. I removed the end caps, it was not to bad following the instructions from the forum.

Sure there is but you can also fill it with a simple pump that you screw down on your ATF bottle and a piece of hose that goes from the pump into the open fill plug. There a whole thread here on it and I suggest for your enlightenment you read it because your dealer is filling you with BS!

We got a Toyota Care oil change and rotation at 5000 miles. They just write it as the 10,000 mile check up and you lose the 5000 mile rotation.

I do the same and spray some Eagle One Wax As U-Dry on the wet truck then shammy that along with the water off. If you have a O'Reilly's Auto Parts store close by they always have it.

That's the first thing I noticed as well. I have almost 20 years in and I've always been really good about wearing my PPE and yet my biggest fear is cancer. These guys aren't doing themselves any favors.
