Well, depends what's under the hood too. The hood doesn't open so I haven't seen that yet.

    Too few to list.
It's not really about the parts, labor is what is expensive. Bluebook your truck to see how much it's worth. If it's totaled, buy it back and fix it due to sentimental value. I found body shops give better pricing when out of pocket sometimes.

My dad is personal friends with a body shop owner so labor shouldn't be too bad.

Anything figured out yet? I got the police report and she received a ticket so she's at fault and I'm definitely covered. Just waiting on a rental now. Been stuck in this house for 4 days now.

Well, the damage is 69% of the value so we will see. I'm hoping it doesn't get totaled! But if it does, the insurance company said they'll let us keep it and give us a check for the value minus $500. So we're looking about $11,500 and I get to keep the truck. That'll be plenty to fix the truck. But I'm still hoping they don't total it.

Most likely totaled with almost $8K in damages. I'd rather them total it and get a check as I know I can most likely get it fixed for less than the stated damage.

I know for a fact I can, but idk. The shop guy said they total it at 70% of the value. So I'm just under that

If they total it, you'd have a rebuilt title but you'll get if fixed cheaper and have money left over to do more to the truck or whatever else. Either way, you get to still keep it.

Actually surprisingly enough, we talked to the insurance company the girl has and they said they'll sell it back to us for $500 and they'll leave the title alone.

I've had that happen quite a bit when I was in the body shop. They're not interested in hauling and auctioning 10 year old cars with 100k. I was grabbing everyone I could and turning them around. Made a lot of money!
