    No ranger has confronted us. It's a common camping area, also the other side which is even closer to the road. Idk national forest, camp where you like. Except for parking in the trail and camping right off it, like that one time some jackass did.

    Well I did just read the post. So your suppose to follow tread lightly philosophy and stay on marked trails but then pull off the trail an entire football field and walk back to camp...makes no sense.

    In other news I'm testing out my underquilt hanging in my hammock on the balcony of my apartment right now. 50* check!

    I'm using my sleeping bag as a top quilt now. Basically just leave the foot section zipped to slide your feet in and tuck the sleeping bag down on both sides of you. Kinda like an upside down taco :anonymous:
