First new truck, before that I had roll down Windows. How does lane change thing work ? I have it on , the P button but I tried to test it and it didn't seem to do anything. Also, do Tacomas come with front sensors ? Thanks

Do you need to know, or care?
That would warrant a trip to the dealer.

If you have your BSM button on, a light will appear in the side mirror when something is in your blind spot. If you turn on your blinker, the image will be blinking. No front sensors on the Tacoma. P button is for Park Assist and does a few things for you, small screen in the middle between your RPM and Speedo will display distance from rear object, you'll hear a beep that gets quicker and finally steady as you back towards an object, and it also gives you cross traffic alert that warns you of on-coming vehicles as you are backing up.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe the dash screens can be customized. I looked in the manual and have played with it, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Example from other thread, this guys 'i' screen shows MPH and Trip Ave Fuel Econ. Mine, shows MPH and Distance to Empty (in the exact same screen as this pic). I can't figure out how to change it and it's driving me nuts! :frusty:

    I have 2 concerns first ..
Does anyone else have a problem with the shift knob being loose , mine recently started moving around the knob has some play on the handle part not the actual stick..

And for those who have a access can does your back seat sit crooked when flipped down ?

Anything like this? Because that's what mine is doing. Added it to my list to take on my 10K.

Having the same issue. Thinking of getting WeatherTech liners again. Had them in all my Toyotas and love them.

Using the steering wheel controls, Go right to settings, arrow down to Driver Info 1, choose the options for display.
    Repeat for Driver Info 2 & 3
Basically you are customizing what you want displayed when you toggle through the screens

You can fix that in 15 seconds...
Push down on the chrome trim piece and drop that and the attached leather down about half an inch. Then just twist the entire handle to the right and tighten it on the shift post. It looks one rotation short of tight. Then pull up on the trim piece and leather and snap it back. Voila!

back seat behind driver = yes. I tried adjusting it a little and made it look better, but still a tad crooked. There are 3 screws under the side flaps you can try to adjust.

I wanted share the following. If you are charging the iPhone via usb port please turn off Bluetooth. Charging and using Bluetooth on apple phone may cause the Entune system to reset multiple times during vehicle operation.

Interesting ... Is that your observation or did someone from Toyota suggest this might be an issue? I honestly can't remember if I had my phone plugged in the last time this occurred on our Highlander. I don't think I've ever had it plugged in while driving the Taco.
