One of my passions other than my tacoma, is plane spotting. I am really into planes and am getting ready to go to college for aerospace engineering.
Would you like to see some plane spotting? They are in Ft.Lauderdale. Just follow the the different links in the video I post here.

    Thanks.....
    Mike

Cool videos, I have always had a passion for flying and anything with wings. I don't do plane watching like you or anything but I sure do keep a close eye of what's flying over head. Any time I hear a loud plane or heli I'm out the door to see what it is, I also pretty much have a mental note of a lot of the personal planes that fly over my house. A few super cubs, and aerobatic planes, crop dusters, etc.

Haven't heard of plane spotting before...

I used to live right next to an airport (KLBL). I'd go out and watch them when there was a big one taking off or landing. I would love to get my pilot's license sometime. My dad has a plane and I know someone that would give me lessons for extremely cheap. I just don't have the time or money. :(

the best place for plane spotting by far is alaska. when i lived up there it seemed like there was always someone flying around. after two years i could identify most of the more common models of private craft just by sound. it was always interesting to watch the guys from the USAF come down for touch and go practice in the c130's and in the summer we would get a lot of traffic from air tankers refueling while fighting fires. once in a while a USCG plane/heli would come through - never liked to see those guys in town. could only mean something was wrong if they were flying.

not much traffic where im at now in montana. we do get occasional military craft once in a while. i live about a 1/4 mile from the end of the airport property so ive go a front row seat anytime something interesting happens.

Good deal man. I have my pilots lisense. Nothing like flying by yourself. I also graduate this saturday from Texas Tech and commission in the air force. Work hard and stay motivated and you'll do great.

Having prior flying experience helps out big time at getting that pilot's slot.

i like trying to see satellites at night. Out in the night time country sky If you look up you can see them every now and then, they almost looks like a shooting star but a little dimmer and they just keep going. Its pretty neat
