Locked up the bed cubby. Not bomb proof, but better than what was there... And it only cost me $12. Going to do the other side when lowes gets more matching locks in.

Acts as a coil tower brace and ties the two together to reduce frame flex. The hats also have a pre-built point to tie in a secondary shock hoop if you opt to add a second bypass shock to the front. More details and pictures in the build thread linked in my signature.

Yes, link please. Apparently the Redline version of these do not fit 2015s. Now that I have a tailgate plate on, I'd really like to add these.

installed tailgate shock this morning. had to remove one cable.

Well, I bought this '06 Access Cab 4x4 long travel from the SLO area, and I kinda knew what I was getting into with all the upkeep and repairs, mods, upgrades, etc. At least twice a week I'm doing something to it. Instead of making a build thread, and Since technically it's been built already, I think I'll just keep posting here of the stuff I'm doing to it.
So here goes....
Yesterday, I repaired the plug on my windshield washer resevoir pump. The wiring harness one. One of the wires had broken at the connector. I unplugged it, cut the other wire, making sure I left enough wire to strip it and put a waterproof heat shrink butt connector later. I messed with the plug connector until I figure out how to remove the locking mechanism and release the wires from it. It always feels like a win when I do that!.

SO I soldered a new wire on there and shrink tubed it to waterproof it the best I could, put it back together.
Windshield washer works again!

Dammit, where are all these coming from? Not Redline, right?
