    I wanna try Pre Jym, but it's so expensive. I need to cycle off pre for a month or so too b/c I am 100% dependent

    I'd start out at 1/2 or 3/4 scoop. Go ahead and do a full scoop just to see what it's capable of. It's intense. I take mine the same way as you. I mix a scoop with a tsp of creatine and put it in a shot glass lol

    I work with many overweight people and they cannot wrap their head around this. I always so "its easy, eat more good food than bad food each day and lift 4x/week. Add in some cardio if u have time"

    If u truly do that and dont destroy 6 days of discipline by having a 20,000 calorie "cheat weekend" every week, the weight has no choice but to come off (or stay off). Zero rocket science in this.

    True but it's also about portion control Even with good food. You can easily go way overboard on intake no matter what it is.

    A good example is people think at my job smoothies are so good for you and they'll belt down 4 a day plus their usual 3 meals. Not gonna work as well with 400 or more calories per.

    My "secret" was just cut out the junk. But that junk was 2-3 big bottles of soda a day for many many years and the 2-3 candy bars a day at work just being bored.

    I get it though. My wife gets bullshit and is insanely jealous of me.

    Same here mostly, except a soda on dart night..and the occasional energy drink but I'm pulling back on those.

    Same with Subway. People think, just because they eat there, the footlong bacon and meatball sub is magically good for them

    That's a lot of damn work for a pre-workout and not very cost efficient. Mr. Hyde is .93 per scoop. 4 times a week, that's 3.72/wk. 3.72 a week for a month is 14.88. 14.88 per month for a year is 178.56.

    You'll have to times that by 2 since he shares it with his wife. The benefit is knowing exactly what goes in it and tailoring the preworkout to yourself. You could add or lower the ingredients when you need it. You can't cut Mr. Hydes caffeine in half without theoretically cutting the other ingredients in 1/2.

    True that. It definitely has it's benefits, but they're just not worth it to me. I already spend about 30 mins each night prepping food...I don't want to waste any more time on measuring shit than I absolutely have to.

    this x 1345654. Same with losing weight. You can eat ice cream and Snickers bars and lose weight, as long as you're eating at a caloric deficit, but you'd be done eating at 11 am though. The reason I switch to cleaner foods on a cut is because it's filling and not very calorie-dense. 2 cups of spinach is like 20 calories where 2 cups of peanut butter is probably like 3000 calories. For instance, yesterday: I ate that damned fried chicken at lunch and basically starved for the rest of the day b/c I had to cut so much shit out to make up for the consumed calories.
