So, little update on the air intake. Just got off the phone with their R&D guy and he said that testing today went extremely well. They managed to get the drivability all dialed in and perfect. Next steps will be to get the truck on the dyno and test various tubing diameters as well as a few other things to get the power dialed in. So, hopefully in the next week or so I'll be able to give you all some real world numbers.

Add my truck to the running tally of "Low Tranny Fluid" rigs that came from the factory that way. 1qt low. Since it is June heat in portland today, I'll know in the morning if that fixed the shifting delay.

Rims are fuel maverick 18x9 -12. Ya, the rubbing is mostly in reverse. Nope, stock suspension!

Would it hurt if I just added a quart to the ATF since checking it seems a bit out of my realm? 1qt seems to be the common deficit...

I'm sure if you could find the toyota procedure for the adding of fluids somewhere. There was no convenient place to add. I think the add / check location are one in the same. Dealer took care of it no cost so thats a plus (if you don't count 2 hours pacing the dealership as a cost)

Honestly I didn't think to take any before and after specifically when removing them image.jpg but here's some pics of what it looked at the dealership and then what it looked like after I removed them. My truck came with black pin striping and I personally wasn't a fan so I took it off - probably could have lived with it for a while. Everyone's tastes are different though.

2 hours? When I went, the wanted me to leave it overnight which wasn't an option due to a very last minute deployment, so they had me "wait" from 0830 until almost 1700h. Was a joke...just to be told everything was fine; literally did nothing to the truck. Still has 2-4 sec delay going from reverse to drive. Otherwise seems to shift fine.

Not sure the most appropriate next step as they already "checked" it. To avoid the hassle, would be easier to just add some fluid if it won't do any harm. I recall reading some people were saying there is a pump of sorts that connects directly to the bottle of ATF with tubing that fits the filling location. Guess I should check it out. Other thread went through steps of checking the fluid but it seemed pretty complex.
