    Guys,

I really need some help on this one. I am getting things lined up to do my build.

I am going with the OME 3" lift after much research. I am also going with the Flowmaster exhaust and BF Goodrich 275/70/R17 All Terrains.

Here's the catch. I need a recommendation for a shop to install the lift and exhaust and do a realignment. I live in Anna, TX which is north of McKinney.

I want to get this done right after Christmas. Please help.

There is a 4 Wheel Parts in Coppell, TX. Would that be a good way to go. I could buy everything through the site, them have it installed.

Does anyone have any problems with 4 Wheel Parts???

from whats happened to other members and 4 wheel parts, id stay away. the sold someone a front diff drop....the person had a 2 wheel drive. they over charged on the parts and labor. find an independent shop thatll do a good job, any will do cause honestly its not that hard. if they have a shop and work on cars, the likelyhood of them being able to install the lift is high

Ok. I am going to take your advice. I will stay away.

Surely to goodness there is someone on this forum that has had a lift put on, or can at least recommend a mechanic in the area.

Wow...the magnitude of that is just now sinking in...

That is exactly the kind of bullshit I don't need. I am about to drop at least 2K to get the truck of my dreams lifted and properly equipped. I don't need to get bent over and screwed.

I, too, believe with supporting independent shops. my local tire shop goes out of its way to do whatever to help me out. I can't say enough good things about the tire shop i go to.

are you planning on welding the exhaust ? if not then you can do those easily yourself.

i got my lift done at toyota in irving and they charged an arm and a lift, if i wouldve known what i know now i wouldve never went there.

I am not very mechanically inclined. Although, now that I think about it, I have a guy at work that works on cars as a second job. He also owes me one. I think I could get him to put on the exhaust for ZERO!

I don't have a prayer with the lift, though. I would DESTROY something!!!

I am thinking about getting the OME Lift Kit on Toytec's site - OME all around with front spacers - Med front 885's up front - AAL's or maybe even the complete replacement OME springs (that would cut out the exhaust from the budget) and diff drop kit.

Dude its not hard to put the lift your talking about on. I would do it for a few 4 packs of Boddingtons Pub Ale.

Im all the way down in Kyle TX about 20 min south of Austin.

I saw your Army so I wouldnt mind helping out a doggie. You just have to say that a jarhead put your lift on for you.:D
