They did good, lasted a long time. I haven't had much experience with uniballs yet, so I cant speak for them like Gideon can.

 

I actually have his set now and like them so far.

 

Are you going color matched?

 

From the body line where the shackle mounts are and up will be body colored, the rest will be satin black. I'm going to do the inside of the foglight holes in satin black, and all of the winch mounting area on the backside of the bumper will be satin black as well. Basically, just the "bumper" portion of the bumper will be color matched, everything else will be black.

 

That should look pretty awesome

I was thinking about taking the disc I cut out from my fender into Home Depot to get them to color match it for me, and just brush paint it. I could roll the bigger sections.

 

Don't cheap out now. You've come too far. You can get a spray gun if you're going to DIY. You'll see brush marks in the paint if you use a brush.

I was completely joking, I am taking it somewhere to be painted. I have a firm grasp on my limitations.

Well, I rattle canned all my shit except for the Demello that came powder coated but I would never attempt a color-matched DYF job. Very easy to efff that up I would say lol

 

I'll be rattle canning all the black bits, but that's after I get the whole thing painted retina-searing orange.

 

Dave, carter, any other Nashville fuckers, y'all wanna have a mod day mid May? And by mod day I mean we can meet at someone's place and cut my fenders, put my blue seas in, maybe do shit to y'all's trucks?

Lol I thought you were serious. I color matched a service bed on my buddies truck with a spray gun. Turned out great. Definitely doable.

I'm in as long as each one of us gets to mark and cut one of your fenders without looking at the others, and we will see who gets the closest to being the same. Sound good?
