Looking to buy a GPS unit to use while out on the trails. Anyone have any recommendations?

Yeah true, I was looking at an old Ipad Mini, someone said theres a good Offroad Map App you can download and load all the trails in to it and be good to go...I don't think it'll have real time tracking, but if you know how to navigate at all it could work well

 

How many miles?
At what ambient temperature?
And what load range?
In most situations with a 2 and gen that's to high of psi if you want the tires to last. Wear maybe fine to the naked eye but over temps will wear your sidewalls prematurely. But you can learn the hard way like myself or others because you want 1 mpg better. Lol

 

Don't care about mpgs lol, I'm supercharged, you really think I'm putting along these days lol. That was just what felt like a good medium between high psi for mpg and low psi for ride. So I should set to like 35 then?

I ride at 34 and it still feels stiff to me but it really is different for everyone's set up. But most people tend to run to high psi. Are trucks are not that heavy even with armor for the most part. And most of us aren't running stock tires but tend to run psi like there on low pro street tires. You would be surprised that the psi for what you should be is lower then you think. There is a ton if info on it, and I still don't run as low as I can, and my center tread is lower then the outer. Thus meaning I'm still to high in psi. At 30-35 k miles

 

Its funny to me that you seem to not care about throwing your hard earned money away!! If you don't care about mpgs whyvare you running high psi in your tires. Must be that 22's on 40's low pro mentality.

To be honest I have no idea. That's just what I always set my tires at and never really thought about it lol! And its 16's on 34s mentality

 

Every time I get my tires rotated the guys Are always really happy to tell me that he put my tire pressure back up to 35 PSI then I have to explain to them that the tires have a max PSI of 30 and I run them at 24

 

Not judging. Its just the norm that I see. If your on 34's you have to be over inflated.lol there is no easy answer on the correct psi but I'm willing to bet it is lower then 35. But shit what do you care. You will buy new tires before those are less then half way worn. Hell you probably have new ones on the shelf waiting to be installed. Lol

 

It was a guideline when I was at Toyota that every vehicle was checked and left at 35psi.

As far as psi...i run 35....33x12.5x15

 

I've been told by several tire shops that it's a new law to put them up to 35. Maybe it's a real law maybe they are full of shit.
