Wierd Electrical issue help!

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    This was most likely short around trailer harness, sometimes it happens. You can get something crazy like this in winter if snow with salt gets into the harness. So if they cleaned Trailer harness plug corrosion that was probably it.

    Gotcha thank you. I would think they would add that in the report but i guess not. What can you clean that out with usually? Being that is usally a good place to start fpr shorts or wierd electrical problem. Any specific spray?

    You can start with Electrical connector cleaner or simply use brake cleaner (electric cleaner is preferred because its made for it)
    If you don't use you harness often after cleaning you can spray a little with fluid film to prevent corrosion while not in use.

    Coat the connector terminals with Dielectric grease to prevent water corrosion.
