IMHO keep the bickering to yourselves via pm if it is necessary. Who the eff cares which is better??? People buy them for the cost or the capability and there is no need to get into a which is better contest.

Check your feelings at the door please and thank you!

My Pre-Runner does great in mud. I haven't tried rock crawling, since there's no rocks to crawl here, and I don't have to worry about snow!

What kind of Mud? Got any pics of it?

I have no experience in sand so I can't say. It just seems to be a lot of the younger guys who keep getting razed at school by their buddies who seem to think 4x2 is as capable as 4x4.

Here's a couple of pics from the ocotillo wells meet earlier this year...

There we're 2 other guys out of the whole TW group that hit the mud with me....

Me on the Left, Straycat241 (Paul, prerunner) on the right:

    Ocotillo001_4a745eaa088be60975890987c8dbb1feff50b54f.jpg

    Paul didn't get stuck.

The other guy that went through the same pit got stuck in his pre-runner. I'm not gonna post a name or pic because I don't want him to feel like im baggin on him....

Just pointing out that some drivers can push 4x2's to the max and do just fine, others will probably need 4x4 to get to the end of the road..

I can't believe this is even a discussion. Either you need 4wd or you don't. End of story. I don't see any reason for people to be giving others crap for not having 4wd, and to say 2wd trucks are worthless is just beyond me. If you have no desire to offroad there is no point in wasting the money on the 4wd system/added weight.

We aren't giving people crap for not having 4x2, only saying they are not as capable as 4x4. if they were, why the F was 4x4 invented???

I agree that some people don't need 4x4, and the 4x2 takes them everywhere THEY need to go; Just don't be sayin that you can follow a 4x4 wherever IT goes :D
