Their photo does not show this cable at all. I have the two cables they show but I also have the additional cable in my photo. I am guessing this is the heated seat photo and their instructions are for the non heated seat. Wondering how folks dealt with this that had heated seats. I asked the company... they have been great about answering all our questions... until this one came up... since then after three attempts they have not returned our emails regarding this procedure.

Clazzio responded and gave me the answer. yes, this must be the heated seat option. No, the manual does not show this cable. The solution is to cut the Clazzio so the cable can route without being over stressed. Not a big deal but good to know for others that run into this same question so I thought I would pass on the answer. Also, the strings just tie together with a truckers hitch... they were not specific about which side of the seat belt they go around on the inboard side... it may not matter.

Appologies to all the mechanical geniuses out there that immediately concluded the answer was to cut the clazzio cover. It was not necessarily my first reaction without asking.

Thanks for the feedback, I think part of my issue was I had spent 7 hours yesterday on the OEM Audio + installation and my patience was worn then by the time I opened up the Clazzio's. I'm going to give it a go on Sunday.

Did anyone remove the bolts for the front seats to lift the seats up? I was wondering if that would make it any easier. I installed an amp on the bottom side of my drivers seat, so I hope that doesn't interfere with the install.

I dont think unbolting the seats is really going to help you out... if you cant find the clips under the factory seats use a mirror and flashlight. if you do unbolt realize there are several wires going to the seats these days.

Got the back seats installed, I'll work on the front seats tomorrow. I've got to say the triple black really looks good in the black and tan Taco. Center seat packing wrinkles should smooth out over time and additional tightening.

Here's a contrast of the black leather and the stock cloth on the front seats.

So for the graphite interior, is the dark gray a close match?

The Dark Grey is nearly an exact match. I am bummed as I dont think the Clazzios I ordered and that have arrived are going to work for me. I was nearly touching my head on the sunroof bezzle before installing the covers. Reports on here were that they increased the seat height by 1/8 inch and another said around 0.5 inch. Another said to fold a towel twice and that would be the same amount they increase the height. I really wanted these to work but after just sitting them on the seat and then getting permission to just install the driver side from Clazzio to check the fit the bottom line is these increase the height just too much. I was already at the very top of the cab, I am only 6 feet but I sit straight up and somewhat forward.

IF anyone is interested I am probably going to be selling these on here. I can return to Clazzio but they charge me a 10% restocking fee. Clazzio will help with the shipping... they will let me use their account and drop ship to the new owner. Mine are dark Grey for the 2016 Tacoma 4 door TRD sport.

I am going to drive them again to go home but then likely going to have to remove them. So bummed but cant stand my head hitting and also considering the option to modify the bezzle that others have done to increase the head clearance. But that still will not change the totally cramped vertical viewing and no matter what if I keep these seats it will raise me about 3/8 inch I estimate.

does anyone have any thin seat covers to recommend??

Thought I would try going without covers for a while, after 3 days of ownership placed my order today! Dark grey.

Thanks but actually I was in such a hurry to get the interior cleaned so I could get started on the Clazzio install that I took it to a local carwash. No idea what they use. LOL

When I actually get off my ass and clean my own cars, I use Meguires products and have been very pleased with the results.

Here's my 99 Miata with original paint and it still shines like the day I bought it.

OK fellas, this install was a lot easier than I thought, but I have one issue thus far. The rear seat at the top where the seat belt comes out, does anyone else have an issue with the cover/leather "bunching up" after being tucked in (which was a pain in itself). I'm hoping it eventually lays down but this part is the only part of the install so far that doesn't look "factory". I've tried to massage it out to no avail. Any insight is appreciated.

Use the little black tool and tuck it deeper. Then keep massaging everything right if you are looking towards the rear of the truck.

Also retuck the other black tabs for the head rest etc with the tool and keep working the cover right. If you keep massaging it eventually it flattens out if you tuck things correctly.

I had same problem but went in with the Black tool and kept working it.

All finished and I'm very pleased with how they came out. After a few days I'll keep tightening the straps as the wrinkles smooth, particularly on the driver's seat but for the price they look fantastic.

    20160409_130550.jpg 20160409_130621.jpg 20160409_130550.jpg 20160409_130559.jpg 20160409_130621.jpg 20160409_130611.jpg 20160409_130655.jpg 20160409_130708.jpg

Believe it or not the leather makes more sense in an offroad truck.. it repels water instead of just letting it soak in like cloth, dirt and mud wipe right off instead of staining, it'S more resistant to snags from hooks and you can mend or cover scratches with a little shoe polish.

The tiny little bit of rise with the seat cover also lets me see over the hood better too.

Very pleased with the results for less than $430 shipped.

I went black. Personally love it, and think the dark great doesn't look as good. More of a personal choice though. Cant go wrong with either. I liked the black because it matches better with the door panels, etc.

Those look great. I've had mine on since February now i think and just now I'm needing to tighten the drivers side cover just a little from stretching, etc. Otherwise they still look amazing and still super stoked on them and happy.

Yep, black is a perfect choice to match the side panels and black plastics of the dash and center console.

Definitely makes the interior look like I spent a lot more than I actually did. You really have to look close to see they're just slip covers over the factory cloth.

Got mine about finished (working on it sporadically while I'm at work today). I do have a question. How long does it take for the smell from the covers to dissipate? I had them in my house in a spare bedroom and the smell was awful in there. I was encouraged when I put the back seat covers in last night and the smell was very minimal this morning in my truck. However today now that I'm nearly finished and the sun is hitting them the smell is definitely noticeable in my truck. I'm hoping this is something that will be gone sooner rather than later?
