Should be level. You can always add the overloads back in if you need more stiffness or height in the back.

There was a statement earlier about nose dive with the Pro Suspension. I don't how you would produce that effect. Maybe standing on the brakes at 80 mph or bouncing down an off road trail at 60 mph. I never do that so it seems better than stock up front to me.

If you add the extra inch top spacer to the pro/baja kit, to get the 2.75", do you still not need uca's? (Tax return coming soon!!)

I don't have experience at that height, at a hair less than 2" with the stock kit, there are no alignment issues. However, when you get to 2.75", you should be prepared that it will be a distinct possibility. Its right at the edge, and some guys seem to be ok, while others end up with UCA's. Try it. You can always add them later if needed.

You won't need them.......UCA's aren't needed until you hit the 3" mark. You'll be fine. I'm going to do this myself sometime here in the near future.

It's tough to say. If you've read as many posts on suspension as I have on this forum you will be just as baffled with the different results people experience on mild lifts.
I recently installed my TRD PRO front coilovers and 1/4 inch top spacers. Thinking it took me a little over 2 inches. My alignment was off no matter how much the shop tried to align it. Caster was low and it had slight positive camber. I kept the mileage low knowing something wasn't right and even experienced minor tire wear on the outside of the tires.
After 4 attempts I bought LR UCAs. Once installed the alignment was dead on, 0 camber, 0 toe, 2.5 caster. Now I drive with peace of mind not only knowing that my alignment is dialed in but I can lift the truck even higher if I choose to in future.

Just sharing my experience. It's amazing how every truck is different, I was thinking I would be fine without UCAs. Regretted not doing it from the start, would've avoided a lot of stress.

Having the Baja now, could i ask you why you would rather have the TRD Pro set up?

The baja and the pro lifts are virtually the same. The spring rate is a tad softer on the pros from what I've read. In my quote above I wrote "if by chance I were to make a change I'd go with the pro". I like the idea of a ready to go tough set up from the factory. No messing with taco leans, vibrations, etc... Not to say I wouldn't do another lift involving other lift setups. I just like the baja setup so much and knowing the pro is virtually the same, I figure stick with what I know I'd love with no issues.

I have the Pro and followed JuanitoBunito's great advice about this set up. Most of my driving is on pavement, and so the Pro springs + ICON AAL are perfect. I still have the modest extra lift when I'm on trails and in pastures and farm yards with my horse trailer. Basically in the back country, I prefer to hike!! But getting to the trail head is also important. My truck is the best vehicle I've ever had, so my goal is to keep the incredible driveability and handling that it came with from the factory. When I'm in the passing lane at 140, it's as smooth and as civilized as a BMW, maybe even better. That's why i chose it, and I'm extremely happy with the Pro set up.

I think so too......As of right now i think i'm leaning towards the PRO. With all of construction on the roads around here i 've been noticing the truck bouncing around a lot which it seams the PRO set up would be a little better for....I don't really do any off-roading though, except for some driving on the beach, i would like too after the lift. (living on an small island isn't good for off-roading spots, basically there are no real legal ones.)

I really don't do any off-roading myself. I had plans to but my truck is built pretty nice and I'm anal about damaging it, I'd just assume not to at this point.
Yeah I guarantee you'll love the choice you go with. One nice thing I do prefer on the Pro over the Baja is the rear shocks. The braided line has a rubber jacket on it now. I'm sure they found it to be a problem in the Midwest and east coast with premature failure due to corrosion of the fittings and hose. I knew this going in to buying my Baja so I got a little pro active spraying my undercarriage including all the suspension parts with a metal protector

I had to look twice before I realized what you meant by 'passing lane at 140'...

140? The trucks are limited to 115 I believe.

I was wondering why the Pro costs more, when it seems the Baja comes with a few more components...I guess it's due to the shocks & coils being assembled on the Pro, but not on the Baja?

I have to laugh, i don't want to screw up a perfectly good truck either!. When i say off-roading i really mean driving on some mildly hilly wide dirt roads with no vegetation to get any off-road badging! lol .. Mines a 2012 , only has 24k miles and is garage kept and just by the nature of being my second car it really hasn't seen any major driving in the salty east coast wintery crap. I'm hoping to own this thing till i die!

There are occasions where I have to do VIP duty with my truck, since it's my only vehicle. Life isn't always about the back country! So, I keep it modest, and my general philosophy is to only buy what I need and use. I'd much rather hike up the mountain than winch my way to the top in a mad max Tacoma.
