That sounds right. Oh, and a pair of pliers too. Just basic hand tools is all I can think of.

could be bad bushing on the upper control arm. I have lr control arms with the rubber bonded sleeves and they have recently started to go bad on my driver side. Waiting for my new polys to come from wheelers in the mail to replace.

Yeah, it's pretty bad man. With 119k, it's bound to happen sometime I guess :)

I hope it's not my UCA bushing :annoyed:

@Bennett707 I just ordered a set from the other guy that isn't Bill. Bill looks to be backed up a bit due to him being sick recently so I went with the other guy instead. First choice was Bill but read random pages of the other thread and it looks like I can't go wrong with either guys. I'll let you know when they arrive to see if you're still down to give me a band :)

I will be there. Been lazy and have the sliders in the garage still. I really should get on that. Only other thing is to do something with Winch control box. It is just kinda hanging there after the screws came off. I have a Superwinch box mounted on a warn bracket on the ARB. I have a new mount, specifically for my control box, but the damn holes don't line up. I am thinking some jbweld......

Hey all I'm looking for a flatbed car trailer. Around 2500 pounds. At least 76 between fenders. Maybe to buy but prefer to borrow. Let me know of any leads!!!

Uhaul. One fender flops out of the way, the other is just held on with a few bolts. Can get my 91" wide LT taco on one in a pinch.

I've really enjoyed this project but putting this thing on and off two dozen times is getting old

just got my poly bushings from wheels today - looks like a productive weekend is ahead. Would you guys recommend i go to the auto zone and rent a bushing press or go about with what most have on the forum and cut out the inner and outer sleeves on the LR uca's

If you have a auto zone (or other auto zone place) I see no reason not to get one. Itll be a free rental so worth giving a shot

To get the bushings out? Can't you use a flathead screwdriver and wedge/pry it out? Or are they pretty bad?

I think he's talking about the LCA bushings which are pressed in? Either way they're a pita. I had to burn mine out.

Wait I retract that and just saw the UCA part. Those should just come right out.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I don't remember my bushings being hard sleeved. They should just come out... only metal part was the center where the bolt went through.
