    I am waiting too, want to order all the suspension components. I did finally see that the TRDUSA page posted something about the 2017 pro, and it claims that one can upgrade to the TRD PRO suspension kit, although I don't see any part numbers available yet. (http://www.trdusa.com/tacoma-trdpro.html)

    Also, does anyone know if the rear leaf spring pack is different from the Off Road Package or is it the same? I am assuming that the TRD PRO isn't lifted any higher in the rear from the Off Road.

    Says it's a 1 inch lift so I would imagine it is 1 inch in the rear and the front

    I don't know for sure, but the actual description from Toyota of the rear leaf pack is exactly the same as the description on my TRD Off-road. That didn't stop them from marketing during speeches as something special, but I'd think it's identical to the leaf springs found in the off-road.

    I had pretty much convinced myself to hold off until 2020 to get a new truck, and was pretty certain I was going to switch to a full size. I thought I really wanted the extra cab space and towing performance, but I think this TRD Pro has changed my mind. I don't think I'll be able to wait until 2020! The appeal to this truck for me is that I can enjoy it pretty much stock. I will mostly likely do some mild modding to personalize it (Weather Techs, window tint, tire upgrade), but that'll pretty much be it. I know you can build them better/cheaper (debatable), but I don't want to do that to be daily driver anymore. I want a good, reliable, comfortable riding, sharp looking truck, and this TRD Pro hits all of those wickets for me. I really like all the color matched accessories, the 1" over stock, the beefed up suspension, etc. Again, I know you can add all of these things aftermarket, but I've been there and done that (I'm on my third Taco). Just my .02...

    BTW - What is this guy even doing in this thread??

    One hard lesson the guys that mod their trucks will learn come sale time is that they rarely, if ever , get a dollar back for the mods they put on, where as with the pro you will.

    I learned that lesson long ago, but tend to keep my vehicles long enough where it doesn't matter all that much. I mod my vehicles more for the enjoyment of tinkering and personalizing than for adding value. I really want to keep a truck mostly stock (for a change) in order to not compromise ride quality (and to free up some funds for my non-daily driver).

    I'm with you. I want a great machine out of the box, and only do very minimal mods over a longer period of time. It'll do 90% of what I want how it is, and I will still have my first gen to get beat up on the bad stuff. Immediately doing a bunch of big mods right after a purchase has no appeal for me.

    Honestly, I would love to buy a brand new truck and immediately dump another $10k in it, and still have money to play with my other toys, but that's not reality for me. I'm just a poor enlisted guy with a wife and kid! :rolleyes:

    I ended up ordering a 2016 Tundra Trd Pro CM in MGM. I love the Tacoma but as soon as I test drove the Tundra I was hooked.

    2 weeks and 1100 miles, loving this beauty, I loved the Tacoma but I needed more room and more power.

    Fortunately found this beauty in stock at a Tulsa OK Toyota dealership and I decided this must be mine I was looking for a MGM but the waiting list is a killer factor to order one.

    My only problem with a sun roof is that my warm summer sun is 120 degree sun.. ive had a sun roof on my last two cars, and i can do without. Also, i planned from the start to put on a roof rack. otherwise, in a better climate i think their great.
