Is the tv installed in the fireplace ?

 

Yup. If it is not on, nobody notices it.

 

I like it. Plus you can throw a crackling fire dvd in and no clean up!

 

Replace with an old plasma TV and you can even get functioning heat when its on too!

 

Huh. We just bought a new place last July. I noticed battery back-up sump. Didnt think much of it. It had rained night before our inspection and inspector told me it kicked on 4x in 2hrs. To me i thought it was a lot since our last home was on a 10,000yr flood plain, so the sump literally only ran if I emptied a dehumidifier into it.

Now having lived in our new place it blows my mind how often our sump runs. If we have a day or 2 of dreary w/rain, it can honestly kick on every 15 minutes.

In our backyard on the lot line is a circular open water drain for our village. When in backyard you know when someones pump kicked on cuz you can hear water flowing into for the 20/30 seconds the run is running.

I wonder if our village has our homes perimeter drains going into our sumps and our sumps out to the water drains for the village?

Which one are looking at, I was thinking of building the ultimate one

 

Exterior home improvement - took down a big maple a couple of weeks ago (see stump on right). Moved all the branches & small debris off lawn to dry a few weeks before bonfire. Took tree down before it started pulling water....so these branches are pretty dry already.

 

I like the ultimate workstation one , the 4'x8' one

Probably just get the plans for each

I think for me , the one with the tablesaw nest and the router drop in but not the chop saw is the best overall design , at least for the way I would use it

 

I'd probably Dado and rabbit the plywood over the pocket screws

 

My only concern is the 1/2" ply folding sawhorses

 

I'll keep my folding metal ones they level easy and I've been happy with them.

 

Yeah but with that table being 8" deep won't that set your work surface way too high ?

 

My current set up is higher, and the metal folders are low on the first setting.
